It'll be horribly uncomfortable

ThepicofmyhairymingeprovesIamsober · 26/02/2023 21:33

The heels would be just a step too far for me, especially as the playsuit is soo short.

sweeneytoddsrazor · 26/02/2023 21:34

I would wear it but my heeled days are over. I would break my ankle or something. 😀

PyongyangKipperbang · 26/02/2023 21:34

Findyourneutralspace · 26/02/2023 21:32

I wouldn’t let age stand in your way! If it’s good enough for Kylie…. 😍

Thats a good point!

Oh and I love the shoes, I think the shoes are staying!

I love it and think you’ll look fab! Enjoy your birthday celebrations 🥂

Should add...being taken to a posh cocktails/champagne bar....would be completely appropriate for a 30 year old in this place.

Thing is, I love it, I love how it looks and its really comfortable but am I too old?

Are you dead? No? Then you're not too old ❤

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 26/02/2023 21:38

I'm not keen - always think playsuits look better on toddlers but if it floats your boat age isn't a reason not to wear it.

And it's Ptangyangkipperbang...

Chickenly · 26/02/2023 21:38

I like it - my DM wore something similar for her 50th and looked stunning. But, unfortunately, it's sold out in your size :( Love the shoes too - I wouldn't cas it down with boots, those would work well.

Namechange101111 · 26/02/2023 21:38

It makes you feel good. That is good enough reason to wear it!

Have a fab night.

pizzaHeart · 26/02/2023 21:41

It gives me Jannette Manrara’s vibe for some reason so if you are somewhat similar especially in personality you would pull it through.
Also does silver sparkle suit you?
If yes, it’s your important birthday and good reason to stand out.

AncientBallerina · 26/02/2023 21:41

Honestly it’s too matchy matchy with the shoes - it’s a 70s look. I am 54 and wore sliver shoes to my 50th but with an orangey flowy dress - shortish though and yeah I do have the legs, well certainly did then 🤪 Get the shoes if you love them but wear them with something else ( not silver!) and get, I don’t know, black or green shoes / ankle boots as suggested and understated jewellery.

Yes, I know.

My UN is a mash up of Pyongyang, capital of DPRK (North Korea) and the Jack Rosenthal play.

To clarify I meant get the shoes and keep them to wear With a different dress/outfit!

PyongyangKipperbang · 26/02/2023 21:43

I should maybe have added that I already own both items!

OP posts:
PyongyangKipperbang · 26/02/2023 21:43

The Q is.....do I send them back?!

OP posts:
Crikeyalmighty · 26/02/2023 21:44

Well I certainly couldn't get away with that - I wish

But if you can oP- go for it!!

DiddyHeck · 26/02/2023 21:44

I just can't imagine that looking good on anyone over about 35 to be honest and I hate the fact I'm saying this, because I always tell people age shouldn't be a barrier to anything really.

But (and I say this as someone in my early 50s and a size 10) muscle definition tends to decrease with age, especially in the legs and I just can't imagine it looking good.

But if you think you do and as long as you feel good, then go for it.

Happy Birthday and have a lovely evening OP Flowers Wine

Englishash · 26/02/2023 21:28

Please don't wear this. It looks tacky and tarty. Too much on show.

By 'tarty' I mean it's silver sequins. They scream 'look at me' and it's actually shorts -quite short ones, even if you're quite short yourself. The v neck finishes between the boobs too. I think it's a disco outfit for a 20 something. I'm not trying to be offensive but you did ask for opinion. There's no class about it. It just looks cheap to me. Sorry.

CalmConfident · 26/02/2023 21:46

Wear whatever the hell you like! Just add tonnes of confidence and enjoy 😊

Topee · 26/02/2023 21:47

If you love it then wear it. We should dress for ourselves, not the approval of others.

Have a fabulous night!

pinkySilver · 26/02/2023 21:47

I love it!

Krapfen · 26/02/2023 21:48

All depends on the styling. I think the playsuit could look cool but the shoes ruin it.

Apollonia1 · 26/02/2023 21:48

Go for it! Sounds like you've got the figure for it, and you (probably) wouldn't wear it for your 60th/70th/80th, so last chance! :)

ferntwist · 26/02/2023 21:49

Looks gorgeous. You’ve got the figure for it and you’re the perfect height for those heels. Happy birthday!

Siameasy · 26/02/2023 21:49

Yes would wear - I’m 47. The shoes aren’t what I would choose though.
