My dog ate a hedgehog

I think it was was dead already and my dog has just eaten all of it whilst out walking. He was a little distance away and I thought it was a stick. He’s eaten all of it, should I be worried about rabies?

I recently saw an episode of... I want to say Vet on The Hill? Where a dog had humped a hedgehog and had spines where he really wouldn't want them!!

Ewww dogs really are revolting creatures cats are much better.
