I know I can hide the sex topic, but that doesn't make the thread go away.

I think the sex chat thread should be scrapped. I'm not fussed about the rest of the sex board. TMI comments for trolls to wank over are not my thing but others seem to like it.

Absolutely the right attitude! If it's not your thing, just give it a miss. But for info, the sexchat has proved to be a hugely popular thread - with men and women alike - over the months it's been running and was in fact, started by a woman. Yes, there are some sleazy individuals on there from time to time, but they are fairly easily ignored, reported or blocked. The vast majority of visitors to the thread are respectful, normal people.

The fact it attracts sleazy individuals is enough reason for it not to be on MN.

Oh get over yourself - there's unpleasant and offensive people on many MN threads. Just block or report them if they start to bother you.

You're wasting your time. If women, single or otherwise want to virtually wank off poor sex starved married men then they should crack on. As long as they know some find it properly creepy. They should really take it off mumsnet though.

@gamerchick because as said earlier in this thread, if I was married I'd be devastated if my husband was chatting to other women. So I ask. I'd say the majority do tell me there married, I say no thanks, they say np. Easy

The way people are describing men on that post is shameful. If they spoke about women like that she'd be flamed.

The Sex Topic was started in 2015, I remember leading up to it there were loads of requests for one to be started to get all the threads about sex into one place and you had to have been on MN for 90 days to post in it (to prevent pervy trolls).
When did the requirement change to 7 days?
