Longer than my (size 5) foot?

Just taken in my tesco delivery and I have been delivered a cucumber that is literally the same length as my foot.

I need to pay more attention when I'm taking my shopping in!

Waitrose cater for all sizes... The one you have photographed would be a midi-size cucumber (55p). They also sell large ones for 75p, and extra large ones 95p.

I prefer the midi-size ones, far juicier.

You could have used a knife or fork, easily available in the kitchen, for comparison.

I find bare feet one of the grimmest things known to man, summer is torture when people insist on having their feet out in flip flops!! The only time I’m bare foot is when I’m in the bath/shower/swimming 😂

just wanted to pop in and say I got an extra large cucumber in Aldi last week and I was very impressed by its size. Unfortunately, I didn’t think to take a photo alongside my foot (size 6 for reference) but I will next time!

I don't know what people are so antsy about, feet is a standard unit of measurement.

I think you need to work out the volume of a long and thin vs shorter but girthier cucumber before we can properly decide this.

Did you know that your foot is the same size as your arm between the wrist and elbow? Try it if you're bendy enough, and then you can use it to measure cucumbers in the supermarket without having to take your shoes off!

I had the opposite problem recently. I only wanted half a cucumber but it seems like my local Tesco don't sell halves anymore so I had to buy a whole one and it was far too long and went soft before we even ate half of it.

I know that my local veg shop cucumbers are longer, but thinner😱
