I’m an hour in. it’s a struggle.

I’m baffled at all the Oscar nominations.

Help me. I want to turn it off.

I went to watch it on Prime after reading the comments, only to find I had already watched it earlier in the year - obviously made a great impression on me!

^ I am increasingly finding I go to watch a film and sometimes get a while into it, before it dawns on me I've already seen it. Is this middle age?!

I didn't get it at all. I felt it was a strange mix of genres and I didn't like that.

Watched it last night. Found it very confusing and boring tbh.

Started off ok then descended into smugness

I really enjoyed it, laughed out loud a few times which I don't usually do, but found about halfway through that I'd just lost interest. It was starting to feel like a string barely connected set pieces to me. I didn't catch an references to anything, though (as far as I remember), which might have held it together better for me.

I absolutely adored the Banshees till he walked to Colm's house to burn it down, then I had to turn it off. It was too painful watching them all suffer. Really, really loved it till then though. It was so simple and uncluttered.

I thought it was a bit bonkers, but very good fun.

Just watched this and really didn't get it, we'll I did get it, but it tried way to hard, and was just a bit immature IMO. Persisted to the end. I have no idea how it got such accolades, and normally I'm right up for a weird off beat film...

I thought it was great fun though it could have been edited down quite a bit.

It’s quite clearly a film about a menopausal woman who is on the verge of a mental breakdown as she has to do everything everywhere all at once whilst dealing with elderly parent, troublesome teen and useless husband.

Been there! I was quite emotional by the end.

DH(not useless btw) OTOH was bored, fell asleep after 20 minutes, woke up when the rocks and bagel bit was going on and declared it rubbish.
