Florence , Penelope , Matilda or Rose! Baby on way soon!

I have a very unusual name which I dislike.
I know the names I am considering for DD2 are ‘common’ but I love them.

I love Florence and Flo/Florrie

I love Matilda and like Tilda / Tilly/ Matty

Love Penelope but not pen/penny/nelly

I do love Rose but wonder is it enough ???? I had considered Primrose but not sure !!!!!

What do you think?

Matilda! Always been my favourite girls name

I have a Matilda who’s 2, we call her Tilda or Tildy. I don’t know any other Matildas, despite hanging out in various play groups most weeks.

Rose but if DS was a girl he would have been Rosa or Ramona

I hate the name Florence. Penelope will definitely get shortened to Penny. I like Matilda, but know a fair few Tilly’s. Rose is timeless and beautiful, but I can’t imagine talking to a baby and using just plain Rose, so would probably babyfy it and use Rosey posey when talking to her.

They're all 👍, but think she'll definitely be shortened to Pen/ny.

My friend has just had a baby dd and she's called Penrose. It can be a girls name too

I have a Florence/Flo/Flo Flo - we get lots of comments on what a lovely name it is.
