Dancing on the picket line…

I don’t know why I find it quite irritating to see the strikers dancing on the picket line. The physios today were worse than ever with their clapping and dancing.

Thank you for standing up for workers rights. My union didn’t meet the mandate, but we’re with you in spirit (and joining pickets in my lunch break in solidarity). Must remember our DM sad faces though…

I will be out on Wednesday and marching with my whistle and tambourine. If it is a March with lots of unions then my favourites are the Musicians union because they usually have a band and lots of singing and dancing or the Actors union because they are just great fun and you sometimes meet a celeb or two!

Wednesday will just be fellow teachers though and their families and the odd dog although there is a parents group that are joining us to support which is absolutely amazing.
