Was facebook stalking a new male colleague. No reason really, just wanted to find out more about him.
Not sure how on earth I managed it but I ended up sharing his profile photo on my own page. Been up for at least an hour and sure people from work have seen.

They can’t if you changed your setting to private mode, even using Premium. Stalk away!

Indeed there are. Folk saying blame it on your toddler or car. Ffs. Just delete the post. And hope that ant work colleagues who you think would have seen it will be questioning if they saw it at all.

As has been mentioned, I would delete your FB profile and then create another.
I feel for you.

If you're in private mode on linked in, even premium members cant see who views their profile, I think.

I did much worse things at work - accidentally walking into the wrong toilet and running into my boss, for example

I could literally die with embarrassment and think the best option is just to email him and be honest.
Just want to crawl under a rock and hide forever.

Honestly I would be dying of embarrassment too, but from an outside perspective this is so trivial in the grand scheme of things, please try not to worry too much!

I did something similar once. In the morning I’d type in the name of the person I had a crush on at work to search up their profile and have a nosey to see if they’d posted anything the night before. Only - this particular day I must have been half asleep and I put his name as my status!!!! I deleted so, so fast but a couple of people saw it and someone liked it! Just cringing so bad even though that was 14 years ago or so now.

Many years ago (before social media) I did something incredibly embarassing. A friend sent me a card that said "It's never too late to leave town and change your name!" Sorry you are so embarrassed. It will blow over.

No one uses Facebook anymore don't worry about it!

My dd is 19 and her and her friends don’t, despite having a profile. But I’m in my 40s and all my friends and people I know use it a lot, mainly for groups now but if someone posts something it gets seen. (Sorry op)!

I just wouldn't say anything, ever. People do all sorts of weird stalky things on Facebook and as long as you're nice and normal and non stalky on real life he'll probably just shrug it off.
