To think a smashed wine glass is valuable?

A wine glass fell and two perfect teardrop pieces fell out (please see picture). I think it should be worth something (to someone) but DW thinks it should be thrown away.

I actually saved it from the bin.

I agree with your mother!

Argg2054 · 10/01/2023 22:17

Fgs bin it

Applecottagetree · 10/01/2023 22:18

Eh? Worth what exactly? It's useless and dangerous, who would want it?

Ludo19 · 10/01/2023 22:19

🤣🤣Nice try

minipie · 10/01/2023 22:19

It’s very cool that it broke that way but no it won’t be worth anything to anyone. Bin it.

KrisAkabusi · 10/01/2023 22:20

You're mental. It's three sharp pieces of glass, of no use to anyone. Why would anyone possibly want it?!

00100001 · 10/01/2023 22:20

Pooh yes, I'd love to pay £219 for a broken glass please.

gamerchick · 10/01/2023 22:20

You're pulling our leg. Very good Grin

thistimelastweek · 10/01/2023 22:21

I would keep it in the bin for safekeeping whilst I researched its worth to no-one ever.

MaraScottie · 10/01/2023 22:21

I'll give you a million pounds for it. Just send on your bank details.

Krakenes · 10/01/2023 22:21

Yep, sell it to some delinquents in all bar one on a Friday night do they don’t have to do the job themselves.

vodkaredbullgirl · 10/01/2023 22:22

😂bin it

LaLuz7 · 10/01/2023 22:24

Spin it as some kind of miracle? Virgin Mary's tears? Like those Jesus faces that appear on toast and stuff. Might find a sucker on ebay...

MarmiteCoriander · 10/01/2023 22:25

Have you been drinking the wine tonight OP? 😂

PacificallyRequested · 10/01/2023 22:25

Please get some help for your hoarding tendencies. Your poor wife.
<lighthearted>

LubaLuca · 10/01/2023 22:26

There's no value in that. What are you imagining someone would do with it?

DamnYerEyes · 10/01/2023 22:26

Keep the photo and bin the glass.

As an aside, do people wrap broken glass in newspaper for safety before binning or is that just me?

Cnidarian · 10/01/2023 22:26

You've had too much wine

MrsHGWells · 10/01/2023 22:27

Worthless vessel and unsafe

Regularsizedrudy · 10/01/2023 22:27

Is this some reference to something that’s gone over my head??

ClubhouseGift · 10/01/2023 22:27

It’s a smashed glass. It belongs in the bin.

BurtonsRevenge · 10/01/2023 22:28

Wow , this could sell for hundreds of thousands in the right auction. Make sure you keep it with you at all times

We used to but honestly I think you are the only person I know who still buys a newspaper with which to wrap it.

Carefully wrapped in many layers of a paper
