The weirdest thing…I’ve just read about her pregnancy, saw the pictures of her in the snow with her little ones..and just had a massive pang of envy. Never had that before about Stacey Solomon..just seems nice, the young kids…all the money Very grateful for my Dd, 4, but can’t have more and would love more. Very grateful to have a roof over our heads and doing ok..but would love more! I’m not an envious/jealous person normally so it’s taken me a bit by surprise, I’ve also never been interested in S.S either way, although she seems a nice person I suppose 🤷🏻♀️ Weird!

I can't imagine having 3 (?) different dad's and another mum in the picture and being envious of that. Must be a nightmare co parenting and co ordinating it all as well as keeping everyone happy.

Only because I remember seeing on her instagram her dad making one of the massive rooms upstairs in to two for the boys not in a separate building.

If she wants 5 kids thought then that's no one else’s business.

I really like Stacey. My mind is blown that she’s due next month. She must have been pregnant before the wedding 🤔 There’s a picture of her on her hen do putting her hand on her stomach looking down like it’s a bump and people commented at the time asking if she was pregnant.. can’t believe she actually was! It doesn’t sound like they’ve known all that long. How is that even possible?! I struggle to understand. Like you didn’t have a period?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Genius to reveal it like this though.. would have been even better if they’d just emerged with another baby 😂

I watched Billie Faiers’ show and when she announced her pregnancy on Instagram it was actually because the press had got wind of it and were going to publish the story whether she announced it or not. Her manager was phoning her on holiday and she just had to post something before they did.

Over the last few weeks I noticed stories about Stacey, her children and a possible 5th pregnancy popping up on Facebook all the time. Given she actually told everyone the last time was the last time you’d wonder why that was a story for multiple magazines in the last 2/3 weeks. It’s made me think the same thing has happened to her and she was maybe planning to just keep it a secret until the baby was born in a month.

I went back hunting for the articles and these are the ones I could find. I’m sure there was one from the sun too

She has morphed somewhat into me a hinch.porcelined filter fake for the gram crap.and who's poor kids will only suffer for the exposure they've got long term.they are a story.a brand.like an advert it's setup to sell it.but to millions of people watching? Nah the children shouldn't be involved with that.

Shes a total fake. Everything is set up for Instagram & likes. Her lack of hygiene is disgusting, her posts seem more important than child safety & her 2 eldest kids living in a separate building surely must be a safeguarding issue particularly when her house is so easy to find

I used to actually really like Stacey Solomon and thought she was the epitome of a really cool and funny working class girl who has become successful.

I seem to have gone off her over the last couple of years. Her and her massive pickle cottage that she keeps bragging about, with her oh mah gawwwwd I can't belieeeve I am sooo successful now, lil old meee .... eeek...' Like a few people have said, she identifies exactly where she lives, and a couple of her children live on a separate part of the property and land, which is really actually quite dangerous.

She absolutely hates the royal family and says she can't see the point of them, which is another thing that puts me off her, but the braggy Insta-perfect 'look at my house, look at all my children, look how successful my life is. I'm just a Dagenham girl, blah blah blah. Look at me, look at me' attitude. just makes me feel a bit nauseous to be honest with you.

And NO, I'm not jealous or envious or whatever. Otherwise, why do I not dislike every every other bloody rich and famous celebrity?

There's just something about her now that I just don't really like very much. I can't exactly put my finger on what it is exactly. I think it's a multitude of things that have been mentioned on this thread. She has definitely lost her original identity. I am not sure why she is even so famous tbh. Yeah, she was a reasonable singer in X Factor, but apart from that, what else has she actually achieved? Apart from a bunch of reality TV stints?

Not jealous? Could have fooled me. The royal family thing I think is a bit of an exaggeration. There was loads in the press but the actual quote on loose women was something and nothing.

She’s made millions from a career she enjoys, seems to have happy children and has found love with an adoring person who values her. Big achievements in my book.

I agree with you there. I think she was tentatively mentioned in a republican discussion, outside of Mumsnet, and it just attracted ridicule. Not someone they'd use as a figurehead of any anti monarchy campaign, not compared with people like Hilary Mantel (a sad loss).

I don't think people are necessarily jealous though. Yes, she must be wealthy now, but it's the Instagram influencer posting which attracts criticism. Some of it justified, in my opinion the children and privacy, some not.

There are some truly awful comments on here.

She's not hurting anyone, she is not on benefits with five children, she always appears kind and friendly.

It's really sad to read so many awful comments. (I will no doubt get told not to read them then).

We should be lifting up other women and not knocking them down!
