I hate Belgians who are half Iranian and a quarter Australian and are of Mayan descent.

Black cats are stupid.

I think Blue people are untrustworthy - never lend a smurf a fiver.

Scottish people watch telly for money.

English people are mostly German.

MrsMattie · 21/08/2008 15:45

Those smurfs are definitely a bunch of thieving, poncing paedo schlaaaaaags, alright! That Papa Smurf is supporting 10 kids on jobseekers allowance and slinging crack to English kids, I heard. I blame Gordon Brown.

American colloquialisms should not be attempted in a British accent.

hercules1 · 21/08/2008 15:46

WHat does "FYM" stand for?

mamadiva · 21/08/2008 15:48

Soo... I shall go first to walk off the end of the pier then?1?

IMO yes there are too many foriegners here and they can just give a 'sob story' ti get here which is out of order. I don't mind those who are willing to work but the lazy buggers who won't get off their arses and take our money and houses just because they can should just piss off!

I have nothing against anhyone who is willing to contribute and maybe has a genuine reason to be here but all the illegals and people who are just here to take the country for a ride!!

Britain is far too easy to take the piss out of and they know that they are going to get handouts and things very easily so of course they are going to come here it's not like anyone can say anything without being 'racist' so hey keep bringing them over here but has anyone else noticed that after a massive amount of emigrants our economy is screwed?

Wonder why that could be?...

Lynch me if you must!

VictorianSqualor · 21/08/2008 15:48

ROFFLE. My picture is there sweety, bring it on.
However, I don't frequent winners, try M&S across the road. Oh, and bring a dictionary.

MrsMattie · 21/08/2008 15:49

I believe it means 'Fuck Your Mudda'

Nice.

hercules1 · 21/08/2008 15:49

I believe there are far more lazy english people than there are lazy immigrants. However, it's far easier to blame immigrants.

hercules1 · 21/08/2008 15:50

Shorty, you've lost any hope you ever had of having your views respected other than by those people who think like you anyway.

mamadiva · 21/08/2008 15:50

Yes but atleast the lazy brits belong here LOL

zippitippitoes · 21/08/2008 15:51

mamadiva i think your economic argument is not backed up by facts

another fallacy

CaptainFabioHiltsTheCoolerCat · 21/08/2008 15:51

Fo' yo' 'mation?

It's FYI for common people.

PS Common people can be black or white or Polish. I am not racist about my snobbery.

VictorianSqualor · 21/08/2008 15:51

Mamadiva, why stop there, why not open your eyes and see how many people are defrauding the benefit system or milking it due to laziness rather than need and stop splitting groups.

There are too many benefit abusers/cheats in this country full stop.

hercules1 · 21/08/2008 15:51

Sigh, I expect if you delved a little into your own family history you'd probably find that not that long ago your own family came here from another country.

cestlavie · 21/08/2008 15:52

Actually, let me swap sides for a moment.

PinkChick and Shorty do raise one very valid point. Namely that it is increasingly difficult for people in liberal society to say anything negative about immigrants and immigration without immediately being branded a racist.

The reality is that points made by people who are against more immigration and even existing immigrants do contain a kernel of truth. They do take on jobs that British people could have. They do take benefits that would otherwise be available to the British public. British society does have to change and make allowances for them. That is unquestionable. If we ignore these facts and just laugh at them then we risk not only alienating people but more importantly ignoring the facts and ignoring any justiable concerns they do have. On the other hand, the difficulty is that these people will make (untrue) generalisations based on these (true) personal experiences. Just because the generalisation is wrong, doesn't mean that the personal experience is also wrong and should be ignored.

Equally, this is exacerbated by personal experience - those negatively affected by immigration are clearly going to be against it versus those who benefit from it. I suspect that many of those who are so fervently against any potentially racist comments are those least likely to be affected by immigration and immigrants, except in a beneficial way. If you're young, geographically mobile and passably well off (i.e. not on benefits or tied into a geographically immobile, low wage job) then you'll likely to view immigration as contributing to the economy (which it does) because it benefits you in some way, be it financially (a cheap Polish builder) or culturally (because you like having different cultures around you). For many British people, however, immigration can have directly negative consequences. Again, just laughing these off because they don't affect 'people like us' doesn't help address the reality of the situation.

Ah, devil's advocate eh!

pagwatch · 21/08/2008 15:53

oh well done mrs mattie
I couldn't lay my hand on my finsburyparkwannabegangsta to english dictionary. One of the children must have needed it for homework

mamadiva · 21/08/2008 15:53

And... it's my opinion.

Anyway ,last year a record amount of immigrants (sp?) it was widely reported. This year credit crunch hits big time maybe it's just me putting 2+2 together and getting 5 but it's how I figure.

VictorianSqualor · 21/08/2008 15:56

cestlavie, thing is if these people were not claiming benefits the Government would not share out the extra money amongst the needy, and there are still plenty of jobs available.

In the main immigrants are not employed in highly skilled professions where you have to fight to get to the top of your field, they often do unskilled work that there is an abundance of, therefore not taking jobs.

hercules1 · 21/08/2008 15:56

Err, yes, I guess it might have caused the credit crunch. My husband also started growing rhubarb in the garden last year. I wonder if there is any correlation.

mamadiva · 21/08/2008 15:57

My mums side moved here from Ireland when my great gran was young and as far as we know they have all worked since then obviously there are ones I don't know who may well be wastes of space and draining our economy too.

My opinion is the same as any beneifts cheat or lazy shit no matter what nationality.
