To dislike my husbands beard

My husband has decided to grow a beard lord knows why.He looks like a bloody tramp cant even look his side.It started because he couldn't be arsed getting a shave and it has escalated from there.
It makes him look loads older not in a good way i cant bear to kiss him its that bad.Worse still he knows how I feel about it.

I don't like beards much, I often see men with them and think how much better they'd look IMO without one.

What would you say I'd he didn't like your haircut? Would you change it back to how he likes it?

You cant help how you feel. Not much you can do about it tho. I dont like DP's beard. But when its getting longer I ask him to shave, and he does.

I think i see what you are trying to do there but it's not the same thing.

At night in bed she wouldn't be wearing make up. At night in bed, OP's other half is rubbing his wiry face in hers with possible biscuit crumbs in it

I hate beards but it's not the look so much as the feel so while I wouldn't complain about my partners looks, I would certainly refuse to let him touch me with that scratchy horror.

I quite like beards. I prefer a neatish beard though.

I posted this originally because I was on here and he said when we spoke about it(yet again in a cards on the table kind of way) that EVERYONE likes beards.So I came here to prove the point but it does give me the ick.

I don’t like my DH’s beard either, but he loves the wretched thing. He’s got a full grooming kit for it. 😂. At least he keeps it tidy, but he won’t shave it off.

I wrote a big post agreeing with you OP as I wrote similar about 6 months ago. DH and I don’t have sex anymore because of his stubbly beard. Long story I typed it out and lost it.

Ohh I adore DPs beard! He's a proper grr Viking 😂. I cannot picture him without it, although I've never dated a man with one before but bloody love it. Seriously sexy 😂

I'm the opposite- love it when DH has a beard, much prefer it than when he's clean shaven. But it's his choice.

What a weird analogy. Not even remotely the same as the OP's issue.

It's fine for you to have a preference but it would be unreasonable in my opinion for you to expect him to change to cater to your preference.
