To think Royal Mail workers should not be striking

They’ve already been offered a 9% pay raise and declined. Royal Mail is already making a loss. It’s a national service for the public which is now being severely disrupted by strikes, it’s appalling.

The thing is though as well, Royal Mail haven’t actually broken the law in what they are doing yet.

Neither have the union

@Hitthehighseastoday go on to the cwu Facebook page and you will have all the evidence you need! He's not trying to hide it! I'm not making anything up! Everyone who is on the workplace app has saw the pictures. I'm sure Simon Thompson is aware people can see it.

Just had a look now and can’t find anything to support the specific serious allegations that you raise. Are you able to provide screenshots as evidence of this all

That’s because you was taking the first part of my post completely out of context

you just don't seem to understand what a strike is about, I answered the entire text you'd written, no need to quote the entire lot.

you just don't comprehend if your going to lose your job due to T&C being changed then striking and causing issues for the company are not going to matter to you as you have nothing to lose

You've written several times in posts you're a walk over and others have called you spineless - which you seem to be, roll over and die rather than stand up for what you believe. Not everyone wants to fight the good fight - but I bet you wouldn't turn down a lot of the benefits you have received throughout your working life due to the unions. That gets my goat the fact you'll take maternity rights and leave but don't agree with sticking for those rights in the first place

Tessabelle74 · 27/11/2022 20:49

I'll stand with any worker that strikes, it's about time we all stopped bending over to be shafted!

Conkersareback · 27/11/2022 20:50

@Hitthehighseastoday legal exec, or proper solicitor or barrister?

I understand barristers have recently been on strike. Do you back them?

It was a serious allegation though, wasn’t it?

There are thousands and thousands of pics on there from the strikes. The pictures are on there, you just need to sift through and they will also be in the comments.
It's not a serious allegation. He openly did that on the work place app. I don't have the app but the pictures were screenshotted somewhere on the page.

It's not a serious allegation I'm just telling you what he did. It's not a massive deal but inappropriate!
