To feel disgusted with myself for just doing this

Itsfridayforgiveyourself · 25/11/2022 19:26

Went to a drive through before, ordered my Dd a happy meal and myself a Big Mac, Mcchicken sandwich, cheeseburger and coke. No idea why, just always wanted to order my favourite things and not do the meal thing. Generally always with Dh and would feel kind a pig in front of him.
I barely ever drink Coke either, literally only when I have a mcds or pizza, which doesn’t sound like it by this thread, but is pretty rare!
Whyyyyy 🙈it wasn’t even that bloody good, not like I imagined it 😫

Sorry, your update suggests you buy broccoli, cauliflower AND carrot, EVERY week? I’d be full from just one of those, have you sought help for your gluttony?

One carrot a week?! What about all the sugar in them?! I only eat one carrot a year.

BosaNova · 25/11/2022 21:57

Aaand now i wonder how do swan taste.
Is it like goose? Duck? Kind of chikenlike?

BarryK3nt · 25/11/2022 21:57

I love a McDonald’s occasionally but three burgers in one go is 🤢

My guilty pleasure is my secret once a week drive-through (plastic) cheese and bacon flatbread. I am a vegetarian. DC1 would be soooo disappointed. Grin

Good work OP!

I’m a pescatarian but there’s only so many filet-o-fish meals one can take over the years. So, once in a blue moon, if I’m feeling like a total slob, & I have the house to myself, (vital, so vital, no one knows about this) I order a glut of food including a chickeny burger or wrap; some sort of cheeseburger ; whatever cheesy things they have, ALL the fries - to be dipped into vanilla milkshake or McFlurry - and an apple pie.

I mean, it’s being delivered, gotta make it worth the journey!

NO HARDLY ANY REGRETS

I so, so wish there was a Taco Bell near me (I’m half American) but really my waistline (& my entire body) thanks me that there is not. I do make up for it whenever I go to one though. Oof.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 25/11/2022 22:01

I only really like the chicken selects so just get a lot of those with a drink (often tea).

I don’t like the chips in Mc Ds.

I don’t see anything wrong with getting two mains rather than the chips.

MrsMorrisey · 25/11/2022 22:04

Thought you were going to say something much worse than eating McDonalds.
Don't worry about it.

MrsMorrisey · 25/11/2022 22:05

FloresApparuerunt · 25/11/2022 21:55

These threads are like drawing ointment for the joyless. It's three burgers, FFS, not a swan inside a dodo inside an emu.

😂😂😂😂

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 25/11/2022 22:05

Once I’d had a couple of drinks and I remember getting Burger King before I got on the train, but I was still hungry and got another one after I got off the train too 😂😂

Should have got it all in one go and not kidded myself!

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 25/11/2022 22:05

MrsMorrisey · 25/11/2022 22:05

😂😂😂😂

This is brilliant

That’s a lot of poor quality carbs, sat fats and sugar there

You read my mind. I thought MaccyD’s was organic, free-range artisanal health food???!!!!!

SHOCKED & HORRIFIED BY THIS INFORMATION

FortyFacedFuckers · 25/11/2022 22:19

I can't believe you would do that OP, it's utterly disgusting that you forgot the nuggets & cheese bites!! Try harder never time!!

mowly77 · 25/11/2022 22:20

Oh Christ I really really want McDonald’s now. that’s the worst thing about this thread.

JMAngel1 · 25/11/2022 22:21

To those saying this isn't why the NHS is in the state it's in, come to work with me tomorrow. In ED Resus this morning - 8 beds - 5 of which all >100kg and the other 3, alcohol related.
The NHS is in the state it's in due to lifestyle choices, not the Tories - and I hate the Tories.

BCBird · 25/11/2022 22:22

Don't like McDonald's. Have eaten 6 ginger nuts,a bag of crisps and sine cheese biscuits. 🙈 Feeling lonely and whacked from mad week at work.

BosaNova · 25/11/2022 22:23

Diet plan. Some guy lost weight eating just maccies.

(Don't forget your multivitamins though!)😂

MontyK · 25/11/2022 22:26

I usually have a large Big Mac meal and three chicken selects on the side. I could easily eat more....

I didn’t think you were allowed soup and a sandwich?

Swan tastes like chicken nuggets.

People are not in recess because they had a Big Mac and a chicken burger on a rare occasion.

ExhaustedFlamingo · 25/11/2022 22:31

I am utterly DELIGHTED by this thread. I thought it would be full of the competitive undereaters.**

Very happy to find my fellow piggies here. An occasional blow-out is good for the soul, if not the waistline. As long as it's only now and then, there's absolutely no harm in it whatsoever. Enjoy your treat with a clear conscience.

**my auto-correct REALLY wants to change this to "competitive undertakers". I don't know what that is but it's making my mind whirl with possibilities 😅

NeverDropYourMooncup · 25/11/2022 22:32

Unless MccyD's decide that there's money in catering for the celiacs in the population, I will NEVER get to have that experience.

Have a Big Mac, two cheese burgers, giant fries, a fillet-o-fish and a McFlurry for me next time, OP. Then go back in the morning for two bacon and two sausage & egg McMuffins, four hashbrowns and a bucket of coffee with a ton of brown sugar. Because I fucking would if I could now that I can't.
