To feel disgusted with myself for just doing this

Itsfridayforgiveyourself · 25/11/2022 19:26

Went to a drive through before, ordered my Dd a happy meal and myself a Big Mac, Mcchicken sandwich, cheeseburger and coke. No idea why, just always wanted to order my favourite things and not do the meal thing. Generally always with Dh and would feel kind a pig in front of him.
I barely ever drink Coke either, literally only when I have a mcds or pizza, which doesn’t sound like it by this thread, but is pretty rare!
Whyyyyy 🙈it wasn’t even that bloody good, not like I imagined it 😫

Ramble0n · 25/11/2022 19:42

Chips are only good for dipping in the BBQ sauce. I am very very tempted to uber eats a McDonalds now.

ConnieTucker · 25/11/2022 19:43

Ive no idea how you could even consume all that in one sitting! Sounds truly revolting. Did you not feel physically ill after?

Two quarter pounders with cheese for me. Go big or go home!

I love quarter pounders with cheese very rarely have now.

-How can you even call that food?
-My strapping 6ft DH can't even finish a whole burger
-My children would choose a massive salad over a McDonald's.

Just had a 'revolting'

Ramble0n · 25/11/2022 19:50

One chicken nugget would fill me up for a week.

Sorry, what’s a McDonald’s? Never heard of it.

My DD dips chips in her McFlurry. Which I told her to stop until I tried it myself and it’s actually pretty good.

How old is your DD?

Why do you want to know that? 😮

AllOfThemWitches · 25/11/2022 19:54

It's so funny when people think they're special because they never eat at McDonald's.

Yeah Burger King makes me feel instantly Ill and I have no idea why!

Courgettecity · 25/11/2022 19:57

YABU all of you, one burger and then ALL the fries, ALL of them, until you die of salt overload. I can’t believe anyone would drop fries and replace with chicken nuggets, the horror.

Courgettecity · 25/11/2022 19:57

Burger King = instant migraine for me.

Hankunamatata · 25/11/2022 19:58

The cost alone would stop me ordering morw than one meal (yep I'm tight) lol

I don't know why either. The first time it happened we were on a long drive home and we were starving, I needed the toilet almost straight away. Second time was the same a few months later. After that we used a different services.

Imabitbusyatthemoment · 25/11/2022 20:01

I took the kids for a McDonald’s tonight for the first time in ages. Only had a cheeseburger happy meal and two nuggets. I feel a bit gutted now that I didn’t make the most of it.

Even more so because we had to wait half an hour for the order to be prepared. 😤 Swore I’d never go back there so I may never get to experience this three burger extravaganza.

tillytoodles1 · 25/11/2022 20:04

I do love a Maccies breakfast though. Sausage and Egg McMuffin and two hash browns keeps me full until late afternoon.

Whiskyvodka · 25/11/2022 20:05

LadyKenya · 25/11/2022 19:31

If you think that it is worth the calories, fine.

This.

Sometimes I will taste my food, think no I won’t enjoy that and bin it because it’s a waste of calories.
Dh thinks I’m mad.
But I know I can eat something nicer later on.

TakingThePlunge22 · 25/11/2022 20:06

I hear you...rarely do it and only in recent years as XH was a Maccys snob 🙄.

Quarter pounder with extra cheese, 6 nuggets, medium fries and a banana milkshake 😋😋😋. We can't get it delivered here so if I'm going to do a 7 mile round trip I'll bloody well make the most of it.

Unless you're doing it on the regular just enjoy and move on!

My dgs does this.
Children don’t care.

Whiskyvodka · 25/11/2022 20:09

I live in France and they don’t do milkshake, jolly annoys me.
I have to have a glut when I’m in the uk.
My dsil bought me a milkshake on the way home from his work, dd has done well there.
