What’s an adult size portion of fish fingers??

yabu: 4 is plenty.
yanbu: 4 is a child portion.

I'm middle aged and have 3.

16yr old DS has 6.
14yr old DD has 4.

How many packs of fish fingers do people use?!

4 for me (female)
3 for DS age 9

I genuinely don’t believe a grown ass adult would only have two.

Neither DH or I eat fish fingers but when the kids(5, 7 and 10) have them they have 4 and usually ask for another 1 or 2. On that basis I'd say at least 6 is an adult portion.

I often have 6 or 8 tbh.

4 is about right I’d say for the average person. It takes 4 to fully cover a slice of bread to make a sandwich. That said my teenage son who I’m convinced has hollow legs would probably eat 6-8 no issues. Either as 2 sandwiches or with other stuff.

I was in a pub the other day. Kids menu had under 5's three fish fingers and over 5's 5 fish fingers.
I commented that I'd have 3, 4 max let alone a six year old eating 5.
Maybe I need to up my fish finger game 😊😂

Depends on size of fish finger. Generally about half a small pack in our house per person. I have noticed our go to ones have recently got smaller so numbers per adult have gone up. We now have fishcakes instead (2small per adult or one big Kiev sized one).

One pack of 30 sorts out 8 for my 2 teenagers and my dh and 6 for me 🤷‍♀️

We used to get 3 at school, you also get 3 in a happy meal.

DH and I had an epic argument just after we moved in together when he cooked 10 fish fingers just for him. I said it was excessive. He said he’d paid for them, if he wanted to eat them he would. We still don’t have fish fingers at home due to this 12 fucking years later.
