What’s something you’ve done this week/month that no one knows about?

Today I stood outside of KFC and enjoyed a fillet burger after my 1 hour gym session! I didn’t bother bringing it home for DP to see as I already had a Starbucks frappe and a slice of cake this afternoon😂

What’s your secret of the week/month?

I'm a really emotional eater so find it easier to do for the health benefits rather than just to be thinner

@DoodlePug so am I! I’m such an emotional eater too and I’ve been trying to adjust the way I eat for a few weeks now. I’ve also been going to the gym three times a week for two months now so I’m hoping I’ll start to lose a decent amount of weight soon. Thank you for the encouragement and thank you❤️ it’s really hard having a baby and a toddler especially when my baby has complex needs but all I can do is power through!

A builder working in my house has repeatedly made the most offensive, sexist comments to me. I cannot sack him as the job isn't finished. So I get my revenge by peeing into his tea mug (that he leaves here overnight) and leaving it overnight before lightly rinsing it out in the morning.

CrimboLimbo · 16/11/2022 01:03

I’m having a sneaky Jack Daniels and coke while everyone else is asleep.

I’m going through a hard time. I don’t have the energy to discuss it. Life is just…hard.

CrimboLimbo · 16/11/2022 01:05

Oh I know. I have to go in for an operation soon. Only my husband knows that.

But I’m thinking about just…not doing it. Because im scared I won’t wake up from the anaesthetic and then what will happen to my girls.

no one knows that.

NewsnightThumbs · 16/11/2022 01:10

That actually is living the dream as far as I’m concerned @MxGrinch — going back to bed and nobody knowing, so there is zero chance of being judged 😍

EnormousStuffedMarrow · 16/11/2022 01:28

Thanks @ForgetBarbie I'm really excited. My first (and only!!) marriage at age 53.

Aww that’s wonderful! My mum is 45 and believes she’s too old to ever get married now. I’ll be telling her about you so she can continue to have hope haha. Have a lovely day on your wedding day👰‍♀️💐

Went out for breakfast, alone

mackthepony · 16/11/2022 01:32

^^

Er, are you allowed on here?!

😀

ForgetBarbie · 16/11/2022 01:36

@mackthepony 😂 of course. I’m 23 with two kids which made my mum a grandma at 43. I’m definitely allowed on here!

Baked a dozen pumpkin spice muffins with a crumble top but told the family the recipe only made 10 - ate the other two when they were still warm! So delicious and naughty

Why is this naughty? Just live life and enjoy things. Food isn't naughty, or cheeky!

ToGanymedeAndTitan · 16/11/2022 01:45

Donating a couple of items to the foodbank point every time I go into the local shop which is usually daily

Shamoo · 16/11/2022 01:51

This is a lovely and interesting thread OP, great work!

This is really good of you! It’s reminded me to try and give when I can as I always end up buying too much food anyway

Saw a psychotherapist and have not told anyone.

Sevensins · 16/11/2022 06:51

After being a strict vegan for 6 years I ate a crunchie, double decker and some quality street !

Hippywannabe · 16/11/2022 06:53

DH knows but noone else- I have bought a website and am setting up my own business . I just recently qualified in a mental health field, am doing more courses and think I can help people!

BlueG1 · 16/11/2022 06:54

Went to visit a city abroad that I used to live in. Did some tourist stuff I never got to do when I lived there, and didn't tell anyone I was there. If I saw one person word would have got out and then I would have spent two days in back to back coffee meetups. So I snuck in and out.

Passthecake30 · 16/11/2022 07:00

I bought some pick a mix and a bar of milky bar, and hid it in my underwear drawer
so don’t have to share. Took something that my dd wanted to sell to the charity shop and gave her the cash, just wanted it gone.

mumonthehill · 16/11/2022 07:08

I have eaten the chocolate coins I bought for dc stockings. No one knew I had bought them so no one will notice.

TwoBlondes · 16/11/2022 07:11

Ate the whole of my advent calendar in one go.
I'm sixty Blush

Only 2? I'd have eaten most of them! 😄

Felt empowered after a therapy session. Threw open the bifolds (it’s significant as my DH has some control issues with the bifolds being opened) put alexa on the loudest jumped around dancing.

slowly working on myself and what I want in life. After giving so much of myself to others. It’s a small thing but I found it liberating.

TheAbsentGazelle · 16/11/2022 07:28

Had an offer accepted on a new house yesterday Smile can't quite believe it. One step closer to leaving my lazy, financially abusive ex fiancé.
