At that point all they have to do is no confidence her and provided someone can form a government which can command the house they can take over as pm. She'd be leader of the Conservative party in practice still mind. Nothing that a rule change couldn't resolve.

But they could in theory remove her from being pm in this way and appoint a new pm with the approval of the king. Though not leader of the parliamentary party!
