Disney Paris, how much?

I know IABU to ask here, but I've looked on the FB groups etc and it's clear as mud.

Family of 4, 2 adults 2 under 10s. I imagine we'd want 3 or 4 day there, staying in a Disney hotel maybe with a meal plan. I'm thinking about 3k over one of thr half terms, does this sound about right once travel and spending money is factored in?

Is 3 days / 2 nights ok? Or will a day longer be better? I don't know the joy vs stamina needed ratio!

@poorbuthappy I've just had an ad come up for Efteling it looks great. Do you have personal experience? I'd love to know more about the costs and how to get there/where to stay etc. Thanks.

Entering looks amazing! How many days do people normally do?

poorbuthappy · 20/10/2022 16:18

@CluelessAtClothing we did efteling in a day a few years ago when we stayed at centre parcs Eperheide Belgium and drove over via the tunnel.
I will say that Efteling is more fairy tale -esque but Parc Asterix wins hands down for rides.
Both were only day trips but we could have spent more than 1 day in either park.

Also our last DLP was in 2014. 3 nights/4 days. 5 of us. Disneyland hotel. £3.5k

Wow that is SO much!

ButterflyBiscuit · 20/10/2022 17:40

When we last went they used to alternate 2 nights free with free food offers. Since covid there aren't any offers. And breakfast hasn't been free for a long time.

(We went with 2 nights free and free breakfast!) It works out so much more than it used to be.

I did DLP 4 nights I stayed outside the park and there's a regular bus service its all new and clean very reliable all day.

There's loads of walking to do so 3 nights is needed. This was 2019 I booked it all separately myself. My flight was cancelled and I stayed in the park overnight I have forgotten the name but it was one of the popular well known hotels (good job it was free) because it was dated and it smelled I was shocked the place was in desperate need of modernisation.

I was £2400 for what you're thinking and took £1000 for 4 of us for 4 nights. Full meal plan, Disney hotel, park tickets and a couple extras.

We were €21 for 3 cans of juice and a couple bags of crisps in the hotel. It's very expensive.
I was around the same price for 2 hotdogs and fries in Disney.

We came home with €120
