Sadly I think Liz Truss will still be Prime Minister in number 10 in 17 days time. I'd prefer it to be having been forced into a general election, but that won't happen.

@theworldhas maybe a ‘Back to Basics’ campaign where they repeat the lies they told at the mini-budget and claim only they can solve the economic Armageddon that’s hit us? Not sure who would believe them though. They’ll probably get a leader who’s an unknown, so they can claim they have no connection to what’s gone on in the party thus far - or someone like Penny Mordaunt, who can just go on about things that’ll please core voters - e.g. defence, the Army, family, traditional stuff.
