To ask for a handhold I feel so alone

I'm due to have a 6/7 week scan tomorrow after multiple miscarriages (double figures) and I've got period like cramps and bleeding.

I've been bleeding on and off for 2 weeks, no clots.

I feel so alone and I just want to cancel my scan in the morning. Time and time again I've sat in that waiting area, I've had to listen to the "I'm sorry" words, I've had to sit in the family room with a useless leaflet about miscarriage and a box of tissues.

I'm not religious but I could really do with some positive thoughts being put out there for me tonight, I'm not sure I can endure another loss 😢

Thank you so much everyone again, you've all helped me so so much throughout this worrying anxiety inducing time and I'm hoping I can breathe a little after my final scan next week (12 weeks) before the 8 week wait until 20 weeks.

Words can't explain how shocked I am that I am growing this baby, I never ever thought I would get here, I gave up on my dream to be a Mum and after lots and lots of miscarriages, this one came out of the blue, unexpected, a big shock and is my own little miracle.

I hope anyone who's reading this who may be in a similar position find hope from reading my story, don't ever give up ♥️

I'm also sorry to read so many of you have been through this too, I'm so glad to hear about your healthy DC's ☺️

@CoffeeLover90 I'm convinced boy too! Although we aren't planning to find out and I don't mind either way but the little bit sticking out on that scan has made me think! X

Awwww @elm26 I had a story a lot like yours!! Several miscarriages. Then bleeding when I got pregnant in 2015. Went for a scan totally convinced I was having another miscarriage...and saw my baby's heartbeat.

That baby is now a math whiz 6 year old...and he has three little brothers, too! I don't know why my body suddenly figured out how to keep a pregnancy but I am grateful every day for the sudden change in fortune.

Wow such an amazing heart warming story that you've finally got your babies 🥰🥹 it's so much heartache isn't it? I wish no other person had to go through what we've been through.

Good luck!! My lovely daughter was born in Feb after 3 miscarriages and a pulmonary embolism. I was also on Clexane, Aspirin and progesterone pessaries. Miracles can happen! Got everything crossed for you.
