Morning all

Family visiting yesterday including SIL and 6 year old niece.
SIL accompanies niece to toilet, although no idea why at 6 years old

In my bathroom I have a cupboard which I keep a cosmetics bag which contains my haemorrhoid pills and suppositories

SIL comes down and announces to the whole room that she has had to tell her six year old what a suppository is - so the obvious WHY was asked, and her response was 'oh DD wanted to look in your bathroom cabinet and in your cosmetics bags'

WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL, I was mortified

Who goes into someone elses bathroom and starts opening cupboards and then starts opening sealed cosmetic bags that are inside

I feel super pissed about this, not only the fact she checked, but then she brazenly came downstairs and basically announced to the whole gathering what was in my bathroom.

I still feel mortified

I know this isn't exactly the same, but this reminds me - about 20 to 25 years ago when I used to take camera films to be printed in the local pharmacy.

There was a woman who worked behind the counter, who I went to school with, who was two or three years younger than me and I barely knew her at school. Yet every time I went to pick up my photos, she told me that she had looked through them, and. said 'oh they have come out well, they're nice photos!'Confused

Well, the absolute fucking cheek to open my photographs and look at them. After the 3rd time I found somewhere else to take them, and it was annoying as this pharmacy was only 15 minutes walk and the new place was 3 miles away.

I know it's not quite the same as the OP. But it just reminded me, of people who are damn bloody nosey.

Also, I have a cousin that many years ago when we were both kids. Used to go nosing through all the drawers in my mum's bedroom, rifling through her jewellery, and also our wardrobes mooching through our clothes. AND in a draw that used to have money in it. I think about a few 100 pounds. And she would come down and tell everybody what was there. So inappropriate! My mum ended up locking stuff up in the end.
