Do you wear foundation on an "ordinary" day outside the house?

Wondering, completely neutrally (each woman obviously should decide for herself). Obviously it's nobody else's business on an individual level, but I'm wondering whether more women do or don't statistically rather than about why individuals do or don't.

No, I don't wear any makeup and never wore foundation at all even when I did wear makeup.

I wear it every day I am in the office, if I work from home I see no-one so don't bother. Depends at weekends. Did today as I popped into a friends house but if I am just running to drop kids, clean house and chill then no. If I'm leaving the house other than to.run to the shop then possibly. So on average 4 times a week

Least I'd do is bb cream and blush and eye liner and mascara and lipstick

No I only use foundation on occasion, say going out for dinner or a party etc
Day to day I just use a bit of concealer, brow pencil and mascara.

Every day that I'm going out. Not specially to go to the shop for milk though!

I do but am very aware I need to find a lighter one as mine is too heavy and pretty sure it’s ageing me. I’ve got that horrible mixture of middle-aged skin that still gets hormonal breakouts 😆 so don’t like going out barefaced.

Ive always worn foundation due to skin problems when younger. I never thought I would ever go out out without foundation. However, I've not worn any since covid started and we were all house bound and didn't see anyone. I will never wear it again, I use a tinted moisturiser or BB cream instead. I now realise that I must have looked quite caked previously at times. I feel and look so much better without foundation and think my skin is much better too

Every day I wear it but if my skins clear I don’t use much. Always concealer too for dark circles.

No. Since covid i haven't felt the need to wear makeup. I just put a mask on and head out. It's great and I've saved a lot of money on make up

Same here. I had very dark long hair with pale skin so would look ill. Even during lockdown I made an effort. If you see me naked I'm ill

Yes, even when I'm just at home. I wake up and do my make-up every day no matter my plans and foundation, concealer etc are part of that

Sometimes. I'd say these days it's about 50/50 sometimes just some concealer and other days with foundation.

So not a massive difference but enough to say that when someone claims that most women wear foundation most days they are probably wrong - though obviously some (a large minority here) do.

No, I don’t wear make up day to day. But if I’ve got plans or want to look smart then I do.

I can’t just put foundation on because then I feel like I need to do concealer and then powder it down, and then my eyebrows need doing, and all the rest, so before I know it I’ve got a full face and all the trimmings on.

Me too. I love wearing and doing make up. Full face of slap for the win!
