I totally appreciate there's a lot of work to do behind the scenes, but I haven't seen or heard anything of Liz Truss in the news the last few days - please correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm interested in what else she's working on/looking into. At least we'd have had Boris blustering his way through the current economical problem in front of the camera.

Some interviewee on Radio 4 this morning (I forget who, I wasn't really awake) was suggesting that she and Kwarteng were very keen to keep up a 'business as usual, this is all going exactly to plan' front, and that if they were to make unscheduled public appearances they felt it would lend credence to the belief that they have utterly lost control of the economy. Which, of course, they have.

She's off doing a trade deal with Lilliput. Or Narnia. It will be as successful as KKs budget. Winners!
