I just settled down with a glass of wine to catch up on the creepy garden music and the thread has gone! It must be the 5th time that this has happened! Always the good ones. Oh well.

A bit far fetched but my guess is a baby was abandoned and the music was from a toy the parent had left with it.

This happened the other day when apparently (clearly a troll) didn't feed their newborn milk but instead crushed grapes or something. It went so quick I didn't have time to grab the popcorn.

It's very annoying.
Would be less common if the tabloids didn't prowl for stories and if mumsnet didn't promote threads on sm too. Their own worst enemy!

Maybe it was something boring like the source of the tinkly music was something to do with OP's neighbours and they were cross about the thread

I had the thread open on my phone and came back to the deletion message. Very odd. My first thought was along the lines of OP's safety being in danger such as people figuring out where she lives and wanting to investigate. Or maybe the music was playing from an abandoned mobile phone/device that is now implicated in a theft or missing persons case.

I think ops husband took offence at The Mirror newspaper arriving on his doorstep.

It is very annoying,I was enjoying all the other posters stories of creepy music more than the original post...sad it is gone.
Maybe could continue with those stories in this thread?
