I just settled down with a glass of wine to catch up on the creepy garden music and the thread has gone! It must be the 5th time that this has happened! Always the good ones. Oh well.

Does anyone know what happened to the tradesman thread?

Well the deletion message stated it wasn't anything supernatural after all but I guess that's exactly what a ghost would say .....

I suppose it could have been the mobile phone of someone who was missing, became unwell, was linked to some sort of crime

I thought it must be something to do with the old Air Raid Shelter in her neighbours garden too. There was the creepy music AND a single random rose. Maybe the old couple were keeping someone hostage? 😳

I woke up in the early hours this morning and 'abandoned baby' lightning-bolted into my head as a theory.

Oh no I enjoyed that thread. I especially liked the Russian Lullaby that a PP posted the link for truly scary! Anyone remember the thread with the cat in the back pack at the supermarket? Then a photo of a back pack with it’s own little viewing window for the cat.It was fun I never understood why it got deleted. I must be a bit thick how do journalists track down a MNetter from a thread?

I believe if you click the "watch" button on a thread and it disappears, clicking on the "im watching " link will bring up the deletion message.

Came on here in search of creepy music thread.
I had two theorys at the back of my mind after the first 10 pages, and they are most likely bonkers so please forgive me, but 1) creepy music thread was expertly paced and maybe not real but I didn't even mind, maybe OP then simply asked to have it removed for 'private reasons' because they got stressed and/or decided to take up creative writing and turn the idea into a novel or film script instead, or 2) (more paranoid/sinister) that the audio link which, to my ears was most silent but still creepy AF, might contain a virus that infected all of ours computers who listened.
Only evidence for this is my over active imagination + some computer issues in the days following mind you.
