To be impressed that Holly and Phil queued to see the Queen

I saw on the news today that they both paid their respects. I know MPs got tickets to jump the queue which is fair enough given how busy they are running the country, but obviously run of the mills celebrities don't get that sort of treatment. We haven't seen many celebrities actually pay tribute given they wouldn't want to queue so long, so I was quite touched to see the picture of them walking through. True British gems.

They joined a short VIP queue and walked slowly past the Queen's coffin. I hope their outstanding contribution is recognised in the New Year Honours List.

The BBC coverage hasn't been that good, TBH. I've just listened to the news on Radio 4 and they haven't mentioned P & H at all.

I've just read that they skipped the queue in a line reserved for the press, I guess they might fit into the 'press category' in their line of work?

So Susannah Reid and David Beckham now get the Royal Victorian Order of the Queue and H&P are stripped of their titles.

People being given special privilidges like that goes against the whole spirit of Monarchy.

They very obviously didn't queue like everyone else! They are shown entering Westminster Hall from the side, which is where guests are bought in. Mary Nightingale is with them too. They will have been brought in as visitors by an MP. Also, if they'd queued outside like everyone, they'd be posting "look at me" selfies all over their social media.

I expect they wanted one last chance for Holly to read out a letter telling her majesty Phil is gay.
