Not a chance. Sooner this nonsense is over the better. The whole country has gone mad with grief tourism.

Yup me too. I'll enjoy the day off work and go walking and for a swim in the river. Much better use of my time than watching a spectacle on TV

Snugglemonkey · 13/09/2022 21:10

Nope. I will be making the most of a bonus day with my son and having a day out.

PianoHouseBanger · 13/09/2022 21:11

Nope.
I'll go to the gym in the morning, and take advantage of the (hopefully) empty roads and get out on my motorbike.

SocksAndTheCity · 13/09/2022 21:11

Flowers @feellikeanalien

I won't be watching live as I'll be working, but I'll catch it on the news later in the day and I daresay the whole thing will be repeated at some point. If I was going to be at home I would definitely have watched.

Onacuctustree · 13/09/2022 21:17

I am no royalist.
But I love the history of our country. I watched all the ceremony in Scotland,I learnt so much about the traditions and why things happen.
I will watch on Monday, because it's fascinating. Why have we got these little things that have to be done?

It does feel like the last time it will happen in this way.
There is no way that Charles will get the same outpouring.

Dearmrsjones · 13/09/2022 21:22

I ll be watching as little of it as possible. Mind u it is difficult to watch anything else these days.

Pilipalapal · 13/09/2022 21:25

I’ll be working. Could probably watch if I really wanted. I appreciate that it’s a historic moment but I don’t particularly care personally.

Moonface123 · 13/09/2022 21:26

No, l haven' t watched any of it, doesn't interest me in the slightest, l will be busy gardening.

YetiTeri · 13/09/2022 21:27

ImperfectAlf · 13/09/2022 20:06

Also not a monarchist but I will be glued. Glued, I tell you!

We'll never see the like again.

We'll we'll see it again in less than 25 years... Charles is in his 70s.

PinotPony · 13/09/2022 21:28

I'll watch the highlights on catch up! I need to clear out my garage...

Loics · 13/09/2022 21:28

No, I have no interest in it at all.

Hbh17 · 13/09/2022 21:28

I will watch every minute. It will be a truly historic day.

MrsMigginsCat · 13/09/2022 21:33

I'll be watching. Not a monarchist, but it's history in the making. One of those moments you'll be able to talk about with your grandchildren. My own parents both went to watch Churchill lying in state and told us all about it when we were children. The pomp and ceremony are fascinating and something many of us won't see again.

AntlerRose · 13/09/2022 21:35

I dont think so. I have been to enough funerals and dont really want to remember all that loss to be honest.

No547 · 13/09/2022 21:36

No, I won't be watching. No disrespect but the queen doesn't hold any relevance in my life

LimpBiskit · 13/09/2022 21:36

I'm going to make the most of it being quieter and head out into the hills for a walk

MrsJBaptiste · 13/09/2022 21:37

I'll be working, I'm very excited to have a day when nobody else is in to catch up on a whole load of stuff!

Jammysod · 13/09/2022 21:37

I'm working overtime...double pay, so making the most of it.

Michellebops · 13/09/2022 21:37

My 7 year old and I will be watching. Been glued to the tv since Thursday.

As someone said - it's history, and absolutely proud of the part Scotland got you play in it over the last few days.

Even the plane carrying her back home tonight flew over my house 🥰

Horcruxe · 13/09/2022 21:39

I'll be watching if my kids let me.

I'll point out all the royals to them, currently they dont know any of them.

Campingandwine · 13/09/2022 21:39

I don’t like the idea of watching a funeral on TV so no

Jellykat · 13/09/2022 21:39

Yes i will be watching, i love the history and grandeur, the clothes are extraordinary.. plus it'll be nice to have a reason to sit quietly for a while

Numbat2022 · 13/09/2022 21:40

Very much a Republican but also very interested in history, so I'll be watching. It's fascinating.

TroublesComing32 · 13/09/2022 21:42

No, I don’t want to be disrespectful but I also don't want it in tv all day and it making me and my kids miserable so we’ll be going out for a walk.

CallMeLinda · 13/09/2022 21:45

Probably as everything else is bloody closed and so I have nowt else to do.
Half-joking. I probably will as it's a historical moment innit. Same as the coronation of Charles.
