Or will you be doing something else? Perhaps working or just not watch the funeral?

I'll be watching with my good friend, I'll make cucumber sandwiches and scones and we'll have a cuppa and remember her majesty 😊

TheyreOnlyNoodlesMichael · 13/09/2022 20:14

I'll be at work. TV in reception will have it on but I won't be watching. Zero interest.

ThickCutSteakChips · 13/09/2022 20:14

Whether you are into the monarchy or not, it's proper history in the making, she is the longest ever reigning monarch and they will literally be talking about this in hundreds of years. Of course I will be watching.

A580Hojas · 13/09/2022 20:15

I will be at home as the boss of my tiny company has decided to give us the day off. I will watch.

Aquarius1234 · 13/09/2022 20:15

I'm not a royal but no idea what that even means?
I still read loads of it online and watch the events in the last 15 years or whatever.
So what are you when you watch and read it yet aren't a royalist?

Mushroomlady · 13/09/2022 20:15

I feel like we've been watching a funeral for days already!! The thought of a funeral on top of 10 days of funeral makes my head spin. I suppose it's like the final big firework that they put at the end of the display? Tell you we are getting our money's worth on this charade FFS.

HumptyDumpty2022 · 13/09/2022 20:16

I will be watching. My employer is not giving us the day off so I’m taking a day of holiday. It’s history.

NooNakedJacuzziness · 13/09/2022 20:17

Yep - will be watching, it's history in the making.

DrDreReturns · 13/09/2022 20:17

Yes I'll watch it.

Interested in history?

I'm the same, I'm just interested in it all and find it quite fascinating.

Republican here. Will totally watch. Can’t tear myself away. Same reason I watched The Princes wed. History, innit?

Exactly this!

Will be watching from home though

Saucery · 13/09/2022 20:19

I can’t be doing with all the blether going on as commentary, so I’ll pick up the main bits on iPlayer after. It’s history, but I don’t feel the need to watch it live. Never watched a Royal Wedding (or funeral) either.
Hoping most people are inside glued to their telly though, so whatever walk we go on will be nice and quiet.

DdraigGoch · 13/09/2022 20:20

I'll be working. I did go to Edinburgh yesterday though.

Luredbyapomegranate · 13/09/2022 20:20

I don’t think so, I’ll be working and have barely watched any coverage so far.

Vikinga · 13/09/2022 20:21

I don't like funerals and don't understand why anyone would watch the funeral of a stranger

ProperSorryFrown · 13/09/2022 20:21

No, we don't have a telly.

CeeJay81 · 13/09/2022 20:21

Yep, again not a royalist but it's a once in a life time event. Just hope the kids won't annoy me. Tea and scones will be enjoyed too.

LadyHarmby · 13/09/2022 20:22

I don’t think there’ll be much else to do. Everything will be shut.

PlanetNormal · 13/09/2022 20:23

Hopefully, I will be working. If not, it depends on the weather. If it’s crap, then probably. If it’s decent, I will be out walking or cycling to get away from it.

Thesearmsofmine · 13/09/2022 20:24

No. We’re going away that day so I’ll be in the car/looking for places that are actually open as everything I planned for the day is now shut.

Snowiscold · 13/09/2022 20:25

I’ll be at work, so won’t see it. I would have watched, though, if I could.

CapMarvel · 13/09/2022 20:26

Not a chance. Sooner this nonsense is over the better. The whole country has gone mad with grief tourism.

rocketfromthecrypt · 13/09/2022 20:26

Definitely. It's a significant moment in our nation's history. We won't see another queen, or another monarch who reigns for 70 years, in our lifetimes.

pigsDOfly · 13/09/2022 20:26

I won't be watching, never watched any of the weddings either.

I actually have something that's more important to me to be doing on Monday so won't be at home anyway.

Pretty certain there'll be highlights on the news in the evening I can watch if I feel so inclined.

bloodywhitecat · 13/09/2022 20:27

No. I am heading out to the beach for the day.
