What common things do you not own not due to because financial issues but because you don't have an interest?

Weird thread, the lists could be endless. Confused The stuff listed so far is just run of the mill stuff that most people have.
Not having an 'interest' in curtains. tights and double glazing?

I've never seen the need for a dishwasher. It takes a matter of minutes to do by hand. We got one in work and someone collected my drinks glass and put it in. Went to get it back for a drink a little while later and discovered it was still going. Over an hour just to wash up plates, cutlery and glasses!

Tv. Landline and broadband. (Tether to mobile phone - way cheaper, faster and mobile). A camera as opposed to a camera on a phone.

I was about to say the first 3, then I remembered I also don't have an actual camera.
Having no TV does suck when you're ill though, YouTube just isn't the same.

Some of these things are just practical and make your life easier. You don't have to have an 'interest' in sunglasses but they are very useful for keeping the sun out of your eyes. Grin

just watch tv or a streaming service on a smart phone /tablet or laptop. Job done and no tv licence if you don’t bother with iplayer.
bonus is no hideous large screen tv, I would need to be sat in the garden to see the entire screen of these 48”+ TVs, no one makes small 16” screens anymore.

Not on this thread it seems. Grin I confess I have a huge interest in not standing at the sink washing up and letting the dishwasher do it in an hour while I get on with other stuff.
And I am also very interested in getting Alexa to play all my music to me just by telling her.

I bought my house because it had a dishwasher! I absolutely loathe washing dishes by hand. And dishwashers use less water and energy than handwashing too, so good for anyone who has an interest in decreasing their energy bills.
