Do you care that Liz Truss had an affair?

On the one hand, I feel that it's her own business, but on the other, I want a PM I can look up to, who I can trust, who has dignity. After Boris, after his endless lies, Truss doesn't inspire the integrity that I want to see in my country's leader. AIBU?

In unrelated news, she has ruled out a Windfall Profits Tax on energy companies.

Yes. He was put under immense pressure to marry a 'suitable' wife. And no, he shouldn't have caved, but we can't imagine how bad it was. Much of this is the responsibility of the Royal Family and its ways.

He's going to be a far better King than Truss will be PM.

Shell has a policy of not donating to any political parties. Other oil and gas companies may differ. A potentially libellous post by the other poster.

@Dorisbonson - well if it reassures you, no one in the Oz government would be rushing to get any help from TA, but on the other hand, if KK is now chancellor, then she's obviously not squeamish.

@Abhannmor - indeed! It really is very weird behaviour. Maybe we should persuade her to post in Relationships, and we can help her sort out why she behaves this way Grin

What an absolute fucking car crash as PM as least we can dance on her political grave whilst having a crafty pee on it. Tories probably having buyers regret they didn't go for Rishi. When I finally agree with Mad Nads there should be a General Election you know the world is off it's head.

I don't care that she had an affair, I care that she's massively incompetent and out of her depth.

That's more relevant in terms of running the country.

And if they're still having an affair, couldn't it be seen as a potential conflict of interest?- or was it before she became PM?

Frankly, I'm much more concerned that she co-authored Britannia Unchained, or whatever rubbish it was called. She's terrifying as our PM.
