I just ate a whole pack of french fancies

And I don't feel even the slightest bit unreasonable. In fact, I bought them knowing that I'd sit and eat them all as soon as I got home.

What do you regularly buy, knowing that you will use/eat the lot of it?

Ben & Jerry’s chunky monkey
Big bag of monster munch
walkers classic multi pack (6)

TarasHarp55 · 30/08/2022 20:32

I've eaten 4 french fancies before. I ease my guilt by imagining them all together as one big slice of cake.

ArielManto43 · 30/08/2022 21:10

If I buy a big bag of sweet and salty popcorn, I know fine well the whole lot will be gone in one go. I just can't stop eating them once I've started.

GuidoTheKillerPimp · 30/08/2022 21:13

m&s cheese tasters - they come in about six different sized packets, although I pretend not to see can never find the smaller bags.

Also, cheese with pickled onion or caramelised onion in it.

Fiddledeedeeee · 30/08/2022 21:18

You’ve just made me eat a chocolate orange ‘put away for Christmas’ (the first of many 😏)

GaffNest · 30/08/2022 21:29

Cadbury (has to be Cadbury) Easter egg...lovely and hard after an hour in the freezer.
Pack of Jelly Babies, very difficult to stop eating in one go. Likewise Jaffa cakes.
Multipack of Wispas (also eaten after being in the freezer).
Monster Munch, could easily devour a multipack. Same with Walkers.
Pringles salt & vinegar.
McVities Choc hobnobs, can maybe get close to downing a half a packet with cup of tea/coffee. Fig rolls could take a full packet.

French fancies are delicious but very sweet so would maybe only eat half a pack and take something else with them.

MarsupiIami · 30/08/2022 21:55

I was with you completely with cadburys Easter eggs until you put them in the freezer! I do like milka very cold though.

TheTeddyBears · 30/08/2022 22:12

Munchies. Sometimes I can just have 2 (more likely 4,5 or 6) but sometimes I just can't stop! Although I've stopped buying them as much because I know I can't control myself 😂

Treesandsheepeverywhere · 30/08/2022 22:32

200g of Cadbury milk chocolate in one go.

Spoonfuls of Milo, almost finished a whole tin once, only stopped when I could hear the spoon hit the bottom of the tin 😳.

I never shake from eating sugar but do so from not having any in a day.
Used to he able to get away with it but now gain weight easily, so don't do it too often.

Want2beme · 30/08/2022 22:37

A shop in town sells very generous sizes of chocolate caramel slices. I rarely go in there, as I know I'll succumb. The corner slice is the best, as it has extra base. Just thinking bout it now😋 . I'm quite partial to dunking custard creams and could quite easily scoff the whole packet in one sitting - they rarely get boughtGrin

Treesandsheepeverywhere · 30/08/2022 22:37

Also, packets of licorice all sorts. I eat around the licorice as not too keen on it.

janj2301 · 31/08/2022 00:03

Not all in one sitting
Box of maltesers
Terry's chocolate orange
Any size cadbury's fruit and nut
Bananas
Mini pork pies
Grapes

janj2301 · 31/08/2022 00:24

Costco sell large packs of ready shelled pistachio not my thing but the other half adores all the varieties of nuts they do NOT CHEAP

Pinkfluff76 · 31/08/2022 00:30

Yip done that many times!! Except I don’t like the brown ones despite being a raging chocoholic 😂

JonesyPonesy · 31/08/2022 05:59

A whole Tiramisu standing in the kitchen all by myself.

Vampirethriller · 31/08/2022 06:57

Pineapple tarts! The ones with the bright yellow icing and fondant middle. I could not be left alone with a packet of those.

HarrietsweetHarriet · 31/08/2022 08:02

A whole pack of party rings yesterday in all their sugary fineness. They're so pretty and so irresistible. Rather like French fancies.
Your posts make me feel a little less guilty x

Curlysue72 · 31/08/2022 08:31

A big bag of giant wotsits. I regularly hoover them down in one sitting 😳

DaveGrohlsMrs · 31/08/2022 08:32

Co-op Sea Salt and Chardonnay Wine vinegar crisps. Salivating just thinking about them!

Ldn2D · 31/08/2022 08:36

At the moment sour cream and chive dip! But also love chocolate fingers

EmeraldShamrock1 · 31/08/2022 08:45

Chocolate mini rolls would be my downfall though a binge like that would probably happen twice a year, usually in the winter.

I eat one chocolate bar or a few biscuits every day.

I have never had a sharing bag of crisps for myself.

Food marketing companies are clearing up and the health services sector will pay the price.

TildaRae · 31/08/2022 08:47

A 6 pack of Cadbury crème eggs. They’re just so moreish!

eastegg · 31/08/2022 10:49

NeelyOHara1 · 29/08/2022 17:57

Sainsbury's Peppermint Cremes are very moreish 😳

Ooh I adore peppermint creams and one of my treats is the m and s ones, haven’t noticed that sainsburys have them, I will definitely give those a go, thanks!

Pickingmyselfup · 31/08/2022 11:39

So many of these I agree with!

I could happily scoff all...

Port Salut
Pringles (cheese and onion)
Bottle of wine
Golden crunch creams

I've never had a french fancy though, they look right up my street though so might put them on my treat list for when I've lost the weight I gained (after only just losing it! School holidays are killing me)

xogossipgirlxo · 31/08/2022 11:55

Crisps.
