To ask you to eat cheese with jam?

I love a sandwich with cheese and jam, preferrably strawberry jam, but other flavours are nice too.

Who is up for trying it an telling me if I am really weird or you like it too?

Also, what other weird food combinations are nice and should be tried?

Cheese with honey is nice. You need a good tasty hard one with crackers. 😋🤤

Strawberry jam though, not with other flavours.

My dad eats it on crackers, think it stems from the army, all your energy required in one little hit.

I think it has been replaced with all the "essentials" Strawberry jam 30to35 % fruit, just tastes sweet.

She’s forever putting ‘odd’ things together and you initially think ‘WTF’ but it was like that on bake off and everyone raved about her food - so I trust it’s great! If people like odd flavour combinations they should check out her shows.

Cheese and jam is an absolute standard combination in the Nordic countries. Commonly eaten for breakfast or at coffee time where I live.

I was sceptical when I first moved here but it's delicious.

The one I can't get behind is rice pudding with cinnamon sugar, raisins, blood pudding and liver sausage.

Ready roll puff pastry cut into squares. Blob of cream cheese, blob of strawberry jam. Pinch pastry together so it looks like a fat wonton. Egg wash and bake... Dust with icing sugar.

I was so against this but then went to Naxos and they had some kind of fried cheese with honey and it was amazing. Partner introduced me to fig jam more recently, whack it on a cracker with the strongest cheddar you can find and that my friends is why I have put on a stone in the past month. I would blame the new baby but it’s actually my cheese problem.

Actually, this is a thing in Spain. There's something called membrillo, which is a set quince compote which you have with cheese. It's great!

Cheese and jam on rye bread would be a classic Scandinavian breakfast.

Chilli jam or chutney, absolutely but full on fruit jam is too sweet for me.

My ex MIL once made us sandwiches of salami with Nutella. That is not a good combo

There is a time and place for strawberry jam.

Cheese, fruitcake and a russet apple is heaven. I have crunchy peanut butter, topped with apricot jam and cheese on toast. At sixth form we had peanut butter with blackcurrant jam at break.
