You would have my vote, and you didn't need to type beyond "To think Kerry Katona is pathetic".

mylittletigre · 21/01/2008 08:46

hope it wasn't on her tum!!!!

agree was a silly thing to have done.

winestein · 21/01/2008 08:47

YABU.

Why care? What's being pregnant got to do with it?

geordiemacminx · 21/01/2008 08:48

Not surprising though is it?

She really is vile

Scootergrrrl · 21/01/2008 08:49

Agree with Winestein. At least having a tattoo won't harm her baby, unlike most of the other stupid things she does.

Hulababy · 21/01/2008 08:51

I didn't think you were allowed tattoing when pregnant???

lottiejenkins · 21/01/2008 08:52

Im sorry but i think she is a walking car crash................ I would have been concerned having a tattoo when i was pregnant. At least Iceland have come to their senses and dumped her so we dont have to keep seeing her!!!

PersephoneSnape · 21/01/2008 08:59

it's not illegal to be tattooed when you're pregnant, but it's extremely inadvisable - it's basically the same concerns as hair dye - except far more invasive - tiny little specs of colour hurtling around your body - there really hasn't been any research into the effects of tattooing a pregnant woman.

i wouldn't think that putting your body through that kind of stress (she's clearly in agony and the back of the neck is a very sensitive area to be tattooed...) is a great idea when you are at that stage of pregnancy (what is she, about six months?)

themoon66 · 21/01/2008 09:00

Silly lady. What was she thinking?

winestein · 21/01/2008 09:02

well, in that case Persephone, I would call her ill advised. Who is this Katona person anyway, or will I regret asking that??

Hulababy · 21/01/2008 09:04

If you google most sites say that reputable tattooists will not do a tattoo on a pregnant woman. The main risk they feel comes from the risk of infection or contracting Hepetitus. Most tattooists won't take that risk and recommend waiting until the baby is 6 weeks old or until after you finish brerastfeeding. Most salns have this smae policy for piercings too.

Also you have to think about what the tattoo will look like later. If done on stretched skin, what will the tattoo look like once the baby is out and the skin is not as stretched.

this is who she is winestein,,,,,,,,,,

fuzzywuzzy · 21/01/2008 09:57

She seems to be heading the way of Britney Spears imo, I think she's begining to show signs of going thro some sort of breakdown.....

fullmoonfiend · 21/01/2008 09:59

I don't care whether she has a tattoo. Or if he is pg. But I concur with the first half of your thread title....

winestain · 21/01/2008 10:56

Thanks Lottie (I think!) She appears to be ill advised in general then!

How have I missed her?

betterhalf · 21/01/2008 10:59

Someone tell me exactly why she is famous? Other than for appearing in gossip columns virtually weekly for some stupid thing she's done.

meglet · 21/01/2008 10:59

Very stupid to get tattooed when pregnant. No good tattooist could have done it.

VinegarTits · 21/01/2008 11:01

FFs who cares! she can get twunt tattooed on her forehead for all i care.

quincywincy · 21/01/2008 11:04

Ew she is an utter gobshite in my opinion. It sickens me that 14 year old girls look up to and respect her and want top be like her.

OK Magazine headline a few weks ago.

Cheeky intimate photos of Kerry in the bath with baby Heidi.

Gag, stop whoring yourself and your poor child you nasty, nasty girl.

Interesting though her response whenever she is challenged on why she does this type of thing "I'm the one one is a millionaire"

How inspiring.

VictorianSqualor · 21/01/2008 11:08

Stop caring, I wouldn;t personally have ahd a tattoo when pg because I grew up knowing a lot of tattooists that told me it wasn;t advisable, but it's none of your business, just shhhhhhhhhhhhh already and maybe she'll fade away.

Stupid tattooist really, should know better than to risk it being preggers. What if she got an infection, its the poor baby that would suffer!! SILLY COW

quincywincy · 21/01/2008 11:19

VS I wish that were true and she should just faaaaaaaaaaaade away.

All that bollox abut a break in.. blahdy blah.

Trust me, everything that happens to that lady is very carefully orchestrated.

Better cover myself here alledgedly

Viggoswife · 21/01/2008 11:42

Not just the infection but when you are in pain your body releases stress chemicals no that MUST have some affect on your baby.

I know she is allegedly mentally unwell but she just does not seem to want to help herself in any way. I feel so sorry for her kids especially with the fact their fathers are pretty poor excuses as well.

Her column in OK just slays me I mean who the hell cares what she thinks about anything.

Fireflyfairy2 · 21/01/2008 18:35

Obviously some people care

otherwise, why threads like this popping up all over parenting forums?

Surely it's her baby, her body etc... she is free to do whatever she wants to do. Not condoning what she has done for one minute, but sure if you think getting a tattoo when pg, just don't do it yourself
