I base my opinion on KK self related tales and brags to the papers.

she has a considerable amount of money, more than the average NHS or public sector worker - and for what - well sweet FA actually. so why doesnt KK use her inflated ssalery to purchase dome therapy and maybe some CBT to unlearn her ingrained bad habits

I don't judge her as a mother, won't read any mags she is in, switch tv off when she is in adverts etc. I refuse to buy into the 'celebs' and fund what they do. No I don't know her, or Jade Goody, or Britney Spears, do I want my dd growing up knowing who they are and admiring these women - NO! I don't think many people would want their children looking up to these people. Therefore I refuse to buy into it all anymore and give them their ratings. I do however stand by what I said earlier, I think they are vile. So is the industry they are in.

and you don't think she's been told to say all this by Max Clifford or whoever - she's governed by money and all they have to say is that she'll be penniless unless she goes on Jonathan Ross / releases a statement to the mail and talks about whatever trauma they dream up.

But why would you expect your children to look up to people they don't know ?

My dd looks up to the people she sees on a regular basis - her teachers, her aunt, her family etc and maybe to Gabriella on HSM but she has watched that a million times - not to some completely unknown "celebrity" - she could probably identify who KK is from a photo - but it has never crossed my mind that she would look up to her !! Why would she ?

I like Kerry, i've just finished reading her autobiography and she had a hell of an upbringing. She seems to really love her children and tries to do her best. I don't believe everything i read in the media. Shes made some mistakes and some bad judgements i don't think many people can say they haven't but luckily we don't have every mistake we've made splashed across a newspaper. I think she deserves a break. Shes openly admitted she has mental health problems hardly suprising given her childhood imo

I will judge her because the money I spend on newspapers and on my TV licence helps to fund her lifestyle (I dont buy the magazines.....oh go on then just the occasional Heat but I dont need to do I? She is unavoidable, all over the papers and TV constantly. It would be impossible not to have an opinion. I dont really give two hoots about her to be honest but what about her kids? I am sure that not even half of the stories in the media are true but for her children to be constantly exposed to these stories just so she can maintain her somewhat excessive lifestyle really disgusts me. Why does she just not shut up and concentrate on bringing up her kids surely she has enough money by now. She just does not seem to put her children first and that is what pis*es me off about her.

bipolar affective disorder can be a debilitating but thankfully manageable illness, that is not some fad or trendy thing to do. it is a chemical imbalance of serotonin receptors

Motherfunk I did not mean it in a derogatory manner, I do charity work for mind, I grew up with a mother who was and still is fighting mental illness, it just seems that every celebrity in any sort of crisis says they are bipolar.
I had a childhood friend called Thomas who fought this illness.
I do think it is the celebrity band wagon at the moment though, and I don't think for one moment either Kerry or Britney are true sufferers of this terrible illness.

I have many tattoo's, and am horrified that this woman could be so idiotic.
My tattoist says that in addition to all the risk factors mentioned in previous posts, when you are tattoo'd it causes a rise in body temperature, endorphins rise, and a stress reflex in your body to activate-which in early pregnancy could cause a miscarriage, and later on, early labour.
Obviously, we all know the risks associated with high body temperatures, and stress in pregnancy (apart from maybe katastrophe katona-or just maybe she doesn't give a monkeys).
He will not tattoo any woman who is pregnant, and he prefers them to have given birth at least 3 months ago before he will even book anyone in for discussing what kind of tattoo they would like.
He also says that means they have had about a year to think about having a tattoo, and that cuts down on the spur of the moment tattoo mistakes you hear about so often!

Just adding to my previous post-millions of women in the world suffer horrendous upbringings, horrible experiences and other unfortunate events, but still manage to be fantastic parents with well balanced lifestyles. We just get on with it. KK seems to be milking it for all she is worth. I never have and never will buy those gossip magazines full of self pitying useless celebs. I'd rather my children admire REAL women, living in the real world, dealing with whatever life throws at them, yet never expect special treatment or sympathy because they are too busy making sure that their family come first.

The blood donation people won't have your blood for six months after a tattoo or piercing so they must know something they don't want.
I love my tattoo, done ages pre DS, but think she's being pretty selfish, attention seeking, dense.....

She is stupid. No tattoo done on a 6 months pregnant woman will look the same once the baby is out and the pounds are shed.

And it's probably not that good for the baby, either.
