My sin: I went to a Wetherspoons whilst on holiday in England. Not once, but twice The food was great and I have 3 children with very restricted tastes in food. I'm the same so the menu suited us all. I feel bad about going there knowing the mumsnet consensus on the guy who runs Wetherspoons but it met our needs. I am a Catholic and feel like I need to say a few Hail Marys as a result.

What are your mumsnet sins?

Absolutely howling at this thread. Here’s mine,

• I own a toilet brush
• Don’t have a car or a license
• My daughter had her ears pierced at 3m old
• I’ve never co slept with my kids because I absolutely hate it. They’re 15 months and 3 months old and love their cot
• I look through my neighbours windows when I walk past their house

Oh also I only managed to express for 8 or so weeks with DD. With DS I had no interest in breastfeeding so he was on formula straight away, he didn’t even get colostrum.

In my defence though he was taken to NICU straight away and was there for 6 weeks. I saw the toll breastfeeding took on the other mum’s in the expressing room and it just enforced my decision that much more. He’s now on milk prescribed by the GP so clearly it was meant to be

I live in social housing and have no plans of giving it up.

My dc watch TV and YouTube.

My dc play out without supervision and have done since they were 7 & 9.

Dh plays GTA almost every night in the living room. I join in. Sometimes so do our dc.

I often get up past midday during the holidays.

My DH has been in hospital for the last 16 months. I called him a wanker last night because he doesn't seem to get how hard it is at this end bringing up two kids, bills, debt, organising his life for when he comes home with carers, etc.

His response? Can you bring shower gel next time you come here?

No matter how upset I've been I have never had a spa day.

My washing is still hanging out from yesterday
I have a hot tub and love it
I have fake grass
I vape like a chimney
I don't recycle my rubbish
I have tattoos
I don't have separate towels
I own and use a toilet brush
When my son was younger he loved nuggets and fruit shoots

However, I do hate wethersooons but for no other reason than the food is shit

My children eat a lot of chicken nuggets, in order to ensure that they actually eat something that isn’t a biscuit, fruit or a yoghurt.

My washing regularly stays out overnight, but I do usually check the weather forecast.

I quite often actually hang it out in the evening, as it is the only way I can seem to fit my laundry commitments into my life.

I vape. In the house. In front of my children.

I didn't use keto to lose weight and ate a shit load of ultra processed food.

I will today and every day do whatever I like to ensure the neighbours cats stay out of my garden.
They do not own their owners, they are badly controlled pets.
Their right to roam doesn't extend to my house and garden and they can piss off

This thread is hilarious am loving it. I also vape and enjoy it as it is relaxing. Did smoke weed in the past many years ago but going to have a small mini one at night just to help me to sleep as insomniac for years in peri-meno and it will relax me and knock me out.
Have never had a spa day.

@vodkaredbullgirl I was prepared to forgive you the smoking around the kids - but not rinsing the dishes? 😂

Also my beautiful adopted dog sleeps on my bed even though I said this would never happen but she just keeps following me, she is given baths though and brushed all the time. Nicer than having a man.

My son loves characters like duggee, paw patrol etc and wears clothing with them on because it makes him happy 😀
