Lots of people care what other people think. Complying with social norms and avoiding behaviours that are generally frowned upon / thought to be unacceptable is pretty common human behaviour.

It stinks, dude. Someone was doing it the other day at the playground and all the children got upset and left because it smells completely gross.

Maybe find a hobby that doesn’t stink up everyone around you.

Or one that doesn’t actively damage your own health and then cost taxpayers a fortune in unnecessary health treatment.

Whether vaping is banned or not, it needs to be as tightly controlled as tobacco products. All those flavours are just designed to make you (and kids) vape more.

It's criminal really, especially as tobacco smoking rates were dropping off, especially amongst the younger generation.

I vape and occasionally smoke a proper cigarette but if I'm out in public I always go stand away from other people. Although we can't win because the time I was stood at the smoking point at a Premier inn which I hasten to add was no where near the main doors. One woman about to go in purposely walked up to me and started wafting her hand at me telling me she now smelt disgusting because my cig smoke had blown all over her. She was told rather not politely to jog on and get a life

I really will be glad when much more research shows the real health risks of vaping. People who think vaping is just inhaling harmless scented steam are so wrong. When you vape, you inhale a cluster of hot vaporised chemicals. The ingredients are listed on the packets.

I have emphysema. I am awaiting tests to show what stage it is, but I saw the doctor because I became extremely breathless after smoking electronic cigarettes. Yes, I had smoked twenty years before, but it was the vaping that was, in my case, the icing on the cake. I started vaping because I was going through a crisis and I was told that vaping was harmless. I felt I could get to know my old friend nicotine again, without the health risks of cigarettes.

I would agree that vaping is marginally less dangerous than smoking cigarettes, but I will also state that vaping can provide serious respiratory problems, particularly if you are vulnerable to these (e.g. you are very young or an ex smoker).

Please stop insisting vaping is harmless. It is not.

Super shit and gross are your subjective opinion and you are entitled to that but vapes are certainly a lot healthier than smoking cigarettes ...or rather a lot less unhealthy.

I actually prefer the smell of traffic and cigarette smoke to vape. I "live and let live" by not reacting, other than moving away, just as I wouldn't react, other than move away from someone who has passed wind. Both are not particularly polite, and stink, but I get that sometimes they can't be helped.

I know several people who do both.
They vape to save time just quick couple of puffs. When they have more time they smoke a cigarette.
Im really worried about the flavours of vapes and the bright colours. Surely these can be banned.
