I don't want to get into the legalities of the ongoing case, but what normal woman would knowingly get involved with the likes of him?

Some people will literally date anyone, some people marry murderers and rapists who are in prison. She may be fame hungry, or she may be accustomed to abuse so it is almost a security blanket. Yes, dating him is likely a very very poor idea, but she is still a victim in this, lots of people think they can change someone, it won’t happen to them etc.

I used to come into contact with him semi regularly with my work a few years ago, before this came to light I'd say he's one of the nicest people I've dealt with.

He clearly has many sides, but is very charming on the surface, and of course has a couple of quid so you can see how it happens...

Exactly. Given what we know about Johnson's sexual habits and the red wine incident, I wouldn't bet anything I valued that he hasn't shagged one of his siblings spouses or subjected anyone to coercive control. It's just that it has fuck all to do with Ryan Giggs. Johnson could be a serial killer and it still wouldn't be relevant.

Of course that's not what I meant. It doesn't mean their activities are comparable but their moral standards certainly are.

For those who say they could always see something odd about him, how? I always thought he came across well right up until the news broke about the affairs and then his brother’s wife. Campaigning for anti racism and so on.

I only ask because I had an emotionally (although not physically) abusive relationship, and wonder if I’m somehow drawn to the wrong sort.

I used to have an ex similar like that, bad guy sort of guy and everyone telling me leave him and don't go near him with a bargepole and all that. Turns out family and friends were right, the guy was always no good for me.

I didn't have an abusive childhood and have never been abused but I didn't spot any dodgy vibes either. In fact when his superinjunction got broken, I was surprised it was him. I mean nothing footballers do shock me anymore - looking at you John Terry - but it wasn't like he was an obvious candidate.

It’s their agents who get them involved in the campaigns. Pre-emptive damage limitation.

his own parents dont have anything to do with him because of what happened with his brothers wife. He doesn't seem to have even genuinely apologised for it !
Imagine being the brother who has lived in his shadow all.your life to then watch him destroy your marriage for good measure.
I saw a quote from his Dad when Giggs was made Wales manager that said he should've had his brothers back not be stabbing him in it which put it rather well.

Not sticking up for Giggs but I don't think his father should be pretending to be a good guy.

Kate Grenville cheated on her own husband with Giggs while Giggs was cheating on his wife for at least a year maybe two. So it's not like she's that bothered by adultery.

But in court she said,
The couple were out for dinner with friends on 1 November 2020 when Greville mentioned she had turned down a man who asked her on a date, telling the man: “I can’t believe you’ve asked me out, you’ve got a girlfriend.”

A tad hypocritical but maybe she thinks it's OK to cheat on wives but not on girlfriends - she being a girlfriend herself?

No me neither. Seems like one of those awful, but well documented, examples of these things passing through the generations. No excuse, but some kind of explanation if you’re interested in psychology etc

That’s not true about his parents … his mum anyway she took Ryan’s side over Rhodri.

Rhodri had to deal with his brother shagging his wife, an abortion, and was then frozen out by his parents .. hope he’s sitting back watching the court case

As for what anyone could see in him ? A big fat wallet

And then blame men for their own terrible choices.
