just met up with a long time friend (lovely, but utterly away with the fairies) who honestly believes the earth is flat as well as a whole host of other similarly crazy things. It got me thinking what’s the most batshit thing you’ve ever known anyone to think?

Another one is people pretending the current cost of living increase can be solved by voting in another party as it just down to the tories, whilst comparing us to the rest of europe whilst ignoring the nuanced debate, for example france are on the hook via tax intake as to their lower utility bills, germany are already rationing after the greens virtue signalled to get rid of nucluer and rely on Russian gas and laugh at Trump.

There seems to be a really concerted effort from some quarters to obfuscate what we mean by sex, purely in order to then be able to claim that it’s not fixed.

It’s strange, isn’t it how those that just assert that people can change sec suddenly refuse to engage when asked to expand.

Christian here whose son was diagnosed with cancer at 16 weeks old. Never has my faith been more a source of comfort and peace.

I have an asshole ex, who had a Chinese Water Dragon.
During the Foot & Mouth crisis, he was concerned as "technically, lizards have hooves".
He did come out with a lot of other batshit stuff that he was so convinced about... one time he actually stood up and shouted at his own mum in the middle of a restaurant. My memory is hazy, but I am sure it was about police swabbing people for DNA samples. He ended up storming out the restaurant and fuming in his car. I have no fucking idea why I put up with him for two years.

I agree that making statements and being unable to back them up without moving goal posts on things such as definitions etc, makes people look foolish.

The unwillingness of gender adherents to defend and explain their views is seriously concerning, given their ongoing efforts to subvert of change laws, language and social conventions nearly wholly in the shadows.
