just met up with a long time friend (lovely, but utterly away with the fairies) who honestly believes the earth is flat as well as a whole host of other similarly crazy things. It got me thinking what’s the most batshit thing you’ve ever known anyone to think?

A lady I used to work with said that Harvey Price was blind, as katie sunbathed in a bikini when she was pregnant.

she also said if you get shingles and they join up in a ring around your body you will die.

Do they also think Penguins 🐧 are related? 😂

The world used to be black and white and Humans invented colour.
Lesbians having sex can get each other pregnant so they need contraception.
There are RFID chips in vaccines.
Ghosts are real.

@Trying20 it's more how irate people get when we say we don't think humans can change sex. That it has permeated government, healthcare, education etc.

It's utterly batshit and like being in the emperor's new clothes.

Beekeeper here. That is sort of true. Bees take nectar from flowers, store in their stomach, then regurgitate it back in the hive

It's sad to see Jewish people thinking that any criticism of someone else who is Jewish is anti-semitism.

I criticise some Jews, admire others and I do not take it personally if you criticise someone of my race, religion or nationality.

My mother believes that once you get to 93 you are exempt from any kind of law. I’m not sure what she’s planning to do in her new life as a crime lord.

Jewish people are certainly able to be criticised (like anyone else) if they do things that are criticism-worthy.

Believeing that there is a global conspiracy and a world run by Jews and prominent Jewish families such as the Rothschilds and Soros plus that jewish people eat food made from the blood of Christian babies is anti semitic.

Therefore a number of people replying ‘that humans can change change sex’ are examples of it being a ‘really extremely relevant’ thread upon which to say it.

The idea of sex-shifting human beings is absolutely batshit.

Re. Biden being a paedophile - I don’t know what to think there.
Before he was president there were loads of videos of him sniffing girls’ hair and holding them in a way I would not be comfortable with if they were my children (and videos showing parents keeping their daughters away from him).
Many of the videos were removed once he was president, but some crop up.

Hillary Clinton being in a child sex ring seems like typical bullshit made up because so many people can’t cope with a strong woman and make up stuff. See also Michele Obama being a transwoman.

That Darwins theory cannot be true as nothing has evolved any further in their 60 year life time

A friend lived with a 'guru'. He wasn't, he was just a man who was mentally disturbed, clever and knew how to use his position to get whatever he wanted. He obviously convinced quite a few though, possibly hundreds. I got swept into it for a while but I couldn't batten down my inner scepticism forever.
