because he is acting like a huge cock. We're on holiday, he just called my a stupid fat b@tch. I need comments like that like i need a second anus.

I have enough on my plate. Thing about men is you trust them as a best mate but they can come out with the nastiest shit when a woman would just keep it in.

So, if ever ever ever a woman on mn has been called a name they get up and leave. I am absolutely not saying being called a stupid fat bitch is good, far from it. But my god, i am not precious enough to leave someone for that. Do you want to know why? Because i have lost it with people and said things i shouldn't say, for instance i would like to shout wankers now, but i wont.

may be women you know call their partners each other names but different people want different things. You obviously can give as good as you get so perhaps you are perfectly matched. Mn is not a perfect world its just other mum helping each other. But perhaps we all got are wires crossed and instead of giving our advice we should have congratulated you for using the most amount of insults

fairyfly · 19/01/2008 19:01

Sorry. i forget how patronising and wonderful people are. They never ever ever hurt someone , ever.

When you say he was telling you what's wrong with you...what does he think is 'wrong' with you and - does he have a point?

I mean, take away the insults, which are just not nice, and look at the points he raised as if he had raised them in the correct way. Is he pointing out actual personality or behavioural issues with you that you could do with working on?

fairyfly · 19/01/2008 19:12

Well god knows, he was saying i was selfish, i think anyone can be accused of that. He then went to a nasty level, to win an argument, i wouldn't let him win it, thats the way it goes in my world. He wanted a response, he didn't get one so he called me names.

I would say it is pretty much the way of the world, magnified on here by the way

cosima · 19/01/2008 19:15

get yourself all dressed up with shit loads of blusher on, get out of your hotel room and get back to that bar and go do whatever you were going to do that he said was embarrassing in the first place.

Hecate · 19/01/2008 19:18

oh well, couples row and sometimes say shitty things. The important thing is to move on. Rub chillis in his underpants and enjoy your holiday.

fairyfly · 19/01/2008 19:20

What a fab idea cosima

I once told my husband he was no better than.............

my mother

he's never forgiven me for that one!

fairyfly · 19/01/2008 19:27

I am now eating a cheese sandwich and chips. I have oredered white bread and fried chips. It is accompanied by 20 quid cava which for 20 quid shall now be named champagne.

It's rye bread and roasted sweet potatoes at home so i feel wild.

Hooray for domestics, i may even shag the room service attendant if he's lucky, i love holidays

OP posts:
foxinsocks · 19/01/2008 19:35

you need to shove the chips in the sandwich. That is delicious. SOunds like a fab meal.

fairyfly · 19/01/2008 19:40

Oh it is,hot chips with salt in the soggy white bread downed with cava

tiredemma · 19/01/2008 19:41

VeniVidiVickiQV · 19/01/2008 19:42

FF! Long time no see

There are good and bad bits about tempestuousness. This is the not so great I guess.

Tell him he can come back, but he has to make it up to you in any many you choose.
