lots of people like jack and emily - that's why they have been in the top 10 babies names for about 10 years.

well you're never going to find a name EVERYONE likes. If you like it who cares?

Havent seen the thread where this has happened but true to say they wouldnt do it to your face - virtual convos seems to equal - no need for tact and manners. Unless you have asked for searing honesty of course? (Which you will always get on here )

names are personal choice. you might not like other people's choice of name for their child... if you don;t like jack or emily , other people might not like chesney or kitty , for example. nowt to get upset about. if you like a name,and want to give it to your child,do so.. just don;'t expect the rest of the world to agree/ approve ..... far more important things to worry about wrt to babies and children. if you post your name choices on the interent, which i presume you have, you have to be prepared for ribbing/ piss taking etc

tictacto, I think you are being a bit oversensitive. Bessie had posted that she was calling her child bum-face. You then posted with your (rather unusual) choices of names. It wasn't unreasonable of her to assume you were continuing the joke...
