When you settled down with your partner, did you sit down and make sure you align on housework, parenting, politics, money management, etc. before you settled?
We did just this at the classes we had to attend before being married in (CofE) church. We found it really useful being forced to discuss attitudes to the above as, at 21, we hadn't considered much of the day to day drudgery of life. 34 years later...it worked!
Always amazed how much shit women accept from their partners on MN. We need to meet the highest of expectations for each other.
