He is spoiling the final with his ranting and his commentary. Can't believe Wimbledon are allowing it?

I'd rather live near Wimbledon than near a football ground, any day. At least it's only mayhem for a couple of weeks a year.

It’s part of his game, he does it to get the best out of himself and to wind his opponent up.

I’ve enjoyed watching him tbh as some of the players can be a bit stale and wooden. By that, I don’t mean that nice is boring, as Federer was wonderful. I mean, some of them don’t give us anything and they don’t seem to want it the same.

It’s certainly livened things up. If it upsets the toffs then even better. then again, as others have said, they would have known exactly what he was like and decided to bring their children. Maybe for the laughs, who knows?!

The ridiculous thing about Kyrgios is that he doesn’t even help his cause by challenging calls that are incorrect, he just moans about them afterwards. There were several instances of this today.

Kyrgios’s on court behaviour is disgraceful, I agree, and the authorities are spineless because he’s good box office.

I agree with PPs about Andrew Castle, I also dislike him especially his obvious admiration for Kyrgios. I wonder what he achieved in tennis to merit being a commentator as well. I think the only notable thing he achieved was to take Matts Wilander to 5 sets. But he nevertheless still lost the match!!! Other than that I don’t remember him achieving anything of note.

I’ve been working with Wimbledon this year. They are stressing about falling attendance, and overall interest.

Overall, people who are newer to tennis seem to like Kyrgios. People who are already into the sport seem to have more of an issue with him.

That is the reason there’s a careful line to walk around him and other “less conventional” players…

No, because he was removed from Aus. He tried to get into the country and they removed him.

It is common for lots of countries, for there to be a period when you can't go back adter you have had your visa cancelled and removed from the countrt

People grumbling about Andrew Castle today may have missed the commentators during his other games throughout the tournament. They’ve been quite disparaging about him and at one stage it seemed that they wanted him gone altogether.

I don’t think that only newbies to tennis like the guy. We follow tennis and are just pretty bored of certain players. The tennis was great today and there has been some wonderful tennis this year.

I am sure the LTA could withhold part of his winnings, or ban him from next year's tournament.

Novak Djokovic is not allowed into the US because of his non-vaccination, if we had a government that was led by a competent Prime Minister, same would have happened.

Kyrgios is getting fined for his swearing today, according to one of the papers, and has already been fined a couple of times during the tournament.

I find him fascinating. He'll go through a spell of playing superbly and then just fall apart for a while, then play a shot or two that seem near impossible. I could do without the ranting, but that intrigues me too. Sometimes he seems to play better after a good rant, as though he's more focussed, and other times it seems to make him fall apart.

Djokovic is a genius, but I can't warm to him at all.

They should get a game removed every time they misbehave as you can't really send them off !

It takes a lot for me to cheer for an anti-vaxxer but Kyrgios managed it. Awful behaviour. Although I was glad to see him show a bit of grace when he lost - half expected him to throw his racket at the umpire and storm off crying.

I honestly think he’s got mh or at least anger issues that he should get help with. He’s so talented it would be a pity if he never got to Wimbledon again but he needs help at playing under pressure

Krygios is vile. And considerably mentally unstable with little self control or composure. If he can't keep his mouth shut then he shouldn't be playing top tier.
