As above.

How does compare to what you pay please?

Once they have dried it, hairdressers the look at the cut and still do some trimming

LemonRedwood · 10/07/2022 10:46

For me part of the luxury of having a hair cut is not having to blow dry the damn lot myself. Happily pay for that bit!

110 for a haircut and blow-dry? Why do you pay that? Is it a brilliant cut? There will be loads and loads of places in SW London that charge way less than that

Because it is a brilliant cut, she’s been cutting my hair for a decade and despite only going once a year, my hair never looks like it needs to be cut, IYKWIM. She comes to my house a couple of times a year and does balayage for £30 to save me even more pain..

WafflyVersatileOohOoh · 10/07/2022 10:47

Very cheap.

I paid that to have my dog washed, brushed, and lightly dematted yesterday.

girlfriend44 · 10/07/2022 10:48

Salons don't send you out with wet hair.

The salon I go to dosent do dry cuts.

45 is the cheapest it goes up from there.

I pay £55 for a specialist curly cut
Hair cut dry, then washed, styled and diffused dry. Then cut again. Takes about 90 mins

jessyjo2 · 10/07/2022 10:58

£12 for dry trim, dye it myself when home, 1 box does me twice as hair short.
I cut DH hair as just a number 1 all over with shaver. 3 DDs, long hair, I just cut straight line across bottom now and again when just out of shower, seems fine. Maybe im bit too economical at times!!

Mybeautifulfriend22 · 10/07/2022 11:00

I pay £30 for wash, cut and blow. Small local salon in a Greater Manchester town

Pinkdelight3 · 10/07/2022 11:00

Costs that much just for the blow-dry, but that is central London swanky salon.

AtillatheHun · 10/07/2022 11:00

Salons send me out with wet hair whether from cut or colour. I have curly hair and not one of them knows how to dry it. It’s best left alone and they have an inescapable instinct to fiddle. I pay less as a result.

MilitantFaucet · 10/07/2022 11:01

Similar to what I pay and worth every penny, my hairdresser is amazing, I've followed her to 3 salons now!

Bunce1 · 10/07/2022 11:02

Used to be £55 but changed salons and go to a local place £30. The cut is just as good and my hair is easy to deal with and I never want anything different. SW here, fairly rural with affluent pockets.

RollOnWinter · 10/07/2022 11:05

£32.50, here where I live (a suburb of Nottingham). It's probably double that in the city centre.

BigMamaFratelli · 10/07/2022 11:06

Sounds about right. I pay 40quid for wash, cut and blow dry. If it isn't busy she'll curl it for me too. If my stylist moved salons I'd definitely follow her. This is in yorkshire

Stabbitystabstab · 10/07/2022 11:08

I stopped going because the price was extortionate and no matter what I asked for it was exactly the same cut wherever I went. Layers always too short, looked shit unless I blow dried it every day.
I cut my own now, box dye and get compliments, I must be doing OK.
I have had a good cut ONCE but it was the most senior stylist and I simply can't afford to spend hundreds on my hair

Cma1988 · 10/07/2022 11:08

I have mixed-Afro hair and it’s nearly £100 for a wash cut and blow dry. £45 seems good!

MyNameIsAngelicaSchuyler · 10/07/2022 11:09

That’s very cheap

SaggyBlinders · 10/07/2022 11:10

I pay £45.50 for a wash cut and blow dry.

girlfriend44 · 10/07/2022 11:10

How often do you have it done.

Me about 7 to 8 weeks.

Maireas · 10/07/2022 11:10

Cheap. I pay £75.

Iphigeniaa · 10/07/2022 11:10

I go to a newly graduated hair stylist in a nice salon. £25 and looks the same as it did when I paid £60. I have straight shoulder length hair.

Maireas · 10/07/2022 11:12

Maireas · 10/07/2022 11:10

Cheap. I pay £75.

Every 7 weeks

KatherineJaneway · 10/07/2022 11:12

I pay £45 cut and blow dry long hair in London

Lindy2 · 10/07/2022 11:12

London/Surrey borders and that's about the same as I pay.

I go about 3 or 4 times a year.

I've had the same hairdresser for over 10 years now. I think the cost was about £35 when I started going.

Appleblum · 10/07/2022 11:12

That's cheap. In central London it costs me £80.
