Story of girl allegedly raped by father in Greece

Has anyone seen this?

It's a strange story and the daughter has waived her anonymity to sell her story on the paper but in the effort of helping her dad who is in Greek jail who she says didn't rape her.

She is unemployed but was on holiday in greece with just her father.

She has children but remains in greece refusing to go home and leave her dad until he is released.

It's absolutely baffling. If her father is innocent then this is truly horrific for them to go through. But I'm not sure I'd want to be in greece along than back home with my children after such an ordeal. Not sure who is looking after her children.

How traumatic for them both.

He may have been released but his behaviour on the CCTV shows he is sleazy. He was touching her inappropriately to say the least. At least they’ve both had time to sober up and she can go home to her poor kids.

Obviously the video was very odd and he was absolutely smashed as well but it did look like he was trying to get her to leave. He couldn’t stand up and was lying on her. Probably couldn’t talk.

The Greek police obviously took their time with the DNA results. Almost a month! I can’t believe it took that long, even there. Probably hoping it disappeared from the news. That poor woman had to rescind her anonymity so it didn’t. More trauma on top of her rape!

Poor woman going through all that and still the culprit has not been found and probably won’t be now.

Her poor Dad as well. That CCTV should never have released.

Absolutely horrendous case. I hope they sue.

I would be interested to know the full details of this, I dont think its a straightforward as being reported, he was completely inappropriate with her in the bar, didnt look lik he was getting her to leave to me.

I doubt they'lleven bother looking for the rapist now

Terrifying that the actual rapist has got away. As weird as the CCTV footage was it has served as a huge distraction and really should never have been released for public viewing as it's natural for us to make assumptions. If not for DNA he would have been hung drawn and quartered. It was weird behaviour though.

Sadly I still believe she was assaulted twice in one night.
