Story of girl allegedly raped by father in Greece

Has anyone seen this?

It's a strange story and the daughter has waived her anonymity to sell her story on the paper but in the effort of helping her dad who is in Greek jail who she says didn't rape her.

She is unemployed but was on holiday in greece with just her father.

She has children but remains in greece refusing to go home and leave her dad until he is released.

It's absolutely baffling. If her father is innocent then this is truly horrific for them to go through. But I'm not sure I'd want to be in greece along than back home with my children after such an ordeal. Not sure who is looking after her children.

The CCTV makes for very uncomfortable viewing. She’s clearly VERY drunk, and he’s all over her. She managed to get away and stumble to sit at the bar instead, and he followed, downed another drink and then went to touch her again.
I can see why the authorities arrested him, to be honest. She may be correct in that it wasn’t him, or maybe she doesn’t want to believe he could do such a thing. Either way, that footage paints a very inappropriate picture of his respect for boundaries.

Considering the cctv shows him sexually assaulting her it wouldn't be a jump to assume he's also the rapist.

Depends on facilities available on the island. Might have to be sent to Greek mainland.
She must have been medically examined, I’m surprised she wasn’t given morning after pill if she’s not using contraception. If she can only speak to her father by phone she may as well have returned home and medical attention might be more thorough, or at least quicker.

Just watched it and I was shocked - at one point it looks like he is kissing her chest or neck. Just not normal at all for a father and daughter, even if they were completely s-t faced drunk like they were.

I wonder if she’s being supported by anyone over there? Such an awful situation

It is really a fact that Greece is fed up with English savages.

It is really unfortunate that a great many Brits have to bear the brunt of a reputation where - for example - a newly wed couple perform a sex act outside an Orthodox church. It is one of many obscenities Greece has had to suffer because of low level folk who have no respect for anyone.

If you really knew Greek society and law you would know that a lot has been tolerated.

This case in question has baffled all of Greece and has everyone feeling sorry for the woman in question.

But as it stands, the father remains main suspect.

Please again blame Greek police for this.

He is grinding his groin against her, has his hand up her skirt and his face in her chest, that’s not normal fatherly behaviour no matter how drunk he is. I’m assuming you didn’t snog your brother full on the lips?

It doesn’t look like a healthy father/daughter relationship (who goes on holiday and gets wasted with their dad?!) but it did also look to me like a very drunk person trying to help an even drunker person. Mind you, I usually read things wrong!
