This is a random thread..if you arent interested in Katie and Peter please dont bother reading...
Just had a binge watch of old episodes of Americas Next top model on youtube and it showed me Katie and Peter stateside - their opd documentary..I used to watch it and love them as a couple together. Was gutted when they split but like everyone else at the time I remember thinking how awful Katie was and how she was in the wrong during that infamous massive row they had in that shop in LA.
It pops back up and so I watch it again, near in mind this is after years of me seeing ir. And cant believe it! Its like a brand new argument - completely saw this in a different way.
Pete was the onein the wrong, not Katie. In fact he was awful, actually abusive? Swearing at her calling her a f*king b**ch, "a cow", "you think youre gonna get away with it?"
Bleeding hell, if this isnt abusive I dont know what is! Im more in shock because I remember all the stick KP got, the hate campaign and the "team Pete" . He deserves a medal and all that bollocks.
It just doesnt make sense. How can anyone see it for what itnwas? In fact watching it again, KP hardly spoke..it was all Pete winding her uo, qlmost goading her and then blasting her when she bit back at him..Im just really shocked I guess....😶 makes you wonder how things can get so easily misrepresented.

Some of the girls from the playboy mansion gave an interview that when Harvey was a baby, she left him to go to the playboy mansion in the US for ‘work’ and when she was there she got so inebriated on drugs and alcohol they were afraid she might die.

I watch those videos on Tiktok and he’s being absolutely horrible to her and she looks really depressed and detached. I’ve never doubted she has mental health problems and Pete made them so much worse. He is/was an insecure man and the way he pressured her for sex was really awful. I don’t like him he’s just got good PR and he’s grown up a bit.

But she has committed crimes like drink & drug driving whilst banned and given up/lost custody of her kids choosing men, surgery, fame and holidays over having a stable life with her children so I don’t see how you can say this is all ‘mens’ fault and she means well and is a great mum. She’s chosen to stay with her current man even thought it’s meant she’s lost almost all her custody. She goes on holiday on all of her kids birthdays, first days of school, she doesn’t put seatbelts on them in the car, she admits she never does homework with them and she has embroiled princess in at least 3 very scary and inappropriate incidents (princess being present or involved with Katie’s man drama).

If a man behaved like Katie has the past 10 years you wouldn’t want your kids having unsupervised access, much of this more recent situation is her own fault. I can’t believe she keeps having surgery, it’s making her look so bizarre and she needs to stop going to cheap surgeons as they do not have her best interests at heart just publicity. I agree she has issues and I do feel sorry for her, but more so for her kids especially the little two

I'm another 40 odd year old who has fallen into tiktok. This stuff keeps popping up. I paid zero attention to it at the time.

To clarify is what is showing on tiktok now exactly what was shown at the time yet people perceived him as the victim?

I found a site called tattle life with a thread devoted to Katie Price. I was a big fan of hers but reading the wiki about her on there has given me a lot of doubts. Has anyone else read the wiki as it seems to be factual? It seems they were as bad as each other.

It's quite shocking that ITV2 aired so much downright abusive gaslighting behaviour. The clips on that TikTok page are awful and uncomfortable to watch.

KP seems quieter and calmer back then, she was clearly in quite a vulnerable position.

The managers, blonde and dark haired ladies, were very much team Pete after the divorce and I suspect they had a lot to do with it all.

I confess to having a bit of a soft spot for KP. Even though she makes terrible decisions. I feel, with her, what you see is what you get and she's honest about her life.

I find Emily and Pete very smug. I'm not entirely convinced by their holier than though attitude either.

I just remember what I have read and watched and then later, someone I know who knows her.
katie had a boyfriend when she went into the jungle and Pete was an insecure person. They both decided to monetise their relationship and there were plenty of other awful moments on camera on her TV shows when she was with Kieran and Kris where she is humiliating them and treating them badly. I will never buy that Pete is any kind of victim but she was actually found guilty of revenge porn against Alex Reid and still owes him £25k in damages

They were both equally toxic people to each other that was evident to see. However Peter has gone on to have what appears a successful stable marriage. Katie price has had mutilple failed marriages, arrests for drink driving and harassing his ex and his new partner and recently done it again. Katie price is by no means innocent. She is however a very damaged individual who desperately needs help.

I cannot sing and they both can but if they were on BGT I don't think they would get through.

I think she's one of the earliest victims of reality TV.

There was no support back then. No #behind.

She was the biggest thing in the UK then fell out of favour. And has been trying to claw that back ever since.

KP is a complicated damaged person. She does herself no favours and I admit to judging her in the way she has men around her children. That said, I still view her as the victim.

PA is a massive arse.

the things he said on camera about her, nasty, embarrassing misogynistic things about her body were vile and it says everything about the patriarchal society we live in that not only was he not challenged on any of it, but everyone else joined in.

I know her mum stepdad brother and sister seem down to earth . I think she went into business with her brother and he managed her. Not heard of him in her recent programmes. Wonder why?

It doesn’t help that people only support you to earn money from you. Seems like now she is broke she has very few friends around. Unfortunately I think she used to kid herself it was a true friendship and then later find out it wasn’t. So now she trusts no one apart from the truly awful man she is with now who has isolated her from almost everyone else in her life (including kids)
I can’t see it ending well for her she seems to be picking up speed of disasters

I think I recall that brother was involved in her money mismanagement situation. Anyway no he doesn’t work for her anymore and she’s bankrupt. I don’t recall seeing him in any family photos for a while now either.

Harvey went to a Monday-Friday residential school like many profoundly disabled children do.

He is now an adult and has supported independent living/college like many people with his circumstances do.

her questionable relationship decisions aside, she has done a great job with Harvey.
