This is a random thread..if you arent interested in Katie and Peter please dont bother reading...
Just had a binge watch of old episodes of Americas Next top model on youtube and it showed me Katie and Peter stateside - their opd documentary..I used to watch it and love them as a couple together. Was gutted when they split but like everyone else at the time I remember thinking how awful Katie was and how she was in the wrong during that infamous massive row they had in that shop in LA.
It pops back up and so I watch it again, near in mind this is after years of me seeing ir. And cant believe it! Its like a brand new argument - completely saw this in a different way.
Pete was the onein the wrong, not Katie. In fact he was awful, actually abusive? Swearing at her calling her a f*king b**ch, "a cow", "you think youre gonna get away with it?"
Bleeding hell, if this isnt abusive I dont know what is! Im more in shock because I remember all the stick KP got, the hate campaign and the "team Pete" . He deserves a medal and all that bollocks.
It just doesnt make sense. How can anyone see it for what itnwas? In fact watching it again, KP hardly spoke..it was all Pete winding her uo, qlmost goading her and then blasting her when she bit back at him..Im just really shocked I guess....😶 makes you wonder how things can get so easily misrepresented.
What does everyone think?

Pete is a cheesy one hit wonder who used her to springboard his 'celeb' career. I think he binned her off when he thought he was big enough to make it on her own. Its not surprising his new wife is much younger and was a fan.

Yet his new life with 'hands on hips, turn n grin at the camera Emily' is nauseous. All the rare glimpses into their life. All his 'if Princess wants to go on Love Island'. 'If Junior wants a music career'. He would sell his soul for a byline.

I think Katie Price is her own worst enemy, but she has dire taste in men and after all the public let downs she never seems to learn.

Her recent show about renovating 'mucky mansion' was so honest re: the anxiety, depression and dread she felt about her former home. Walking around the place she spoke about the relationship breakdown, the thefts, the vandalism - people breaking in and leaving the taps on deliberately flooding the house. The broken windows that Harvey had smashed in temper. But she came across as likeable, funny and hopeful.

He's so awful to her. It's really hard to watch. Apparently he's blocked the main tik tock account showing it so he must be aware if it. He was spun as the good guy when he's appalling.

I didn't follow so much but I really like KP. She seems completely open and honest and she absolutely loves her kids and family. PA seems quite arrogant and like he thinks he is amazing when all he has done is one cheesy song.

I can’t be the only one who remembers him doing the summer radio roadshows and school tours back in the early-mid 1990s! I’m not going to say anymore as the thread will be taken down, but since reaching adulthood and gaining the perspective of time, I’ve not been able to stand him.

Stupid post. She has addiction and MH issues going on. There's people not put in prison every day, who've committed violent etc offences, because of similar mitigating circumstances.

I can remember when he'd tell her constantly that no-one would want her because she was a Mother of three. There's one episode were she is flashing and he says "they wouldn't want to go near it if they smelt it". I've always remembered it because it's part of the script misogynists use against women. When Katie tried to challenge the negative headlines about her, with the truth, he didn't seem to like it. He never counteracted anything negative said about her and was never honest about her relaunching his career. Katie is very damaged.

Knowing more now about emotional abuse and how victims use public places to hit back, I'd never judge on snapshots.
It's easy for victims of emotional abuse to come across as unhinged. Pete was very toxic. I think as we get older we recognise abuse. There was a lot of misogyny on television. The young women on Geordie Shore and other reality programmes were also subject to abuse but it made good television.

She's been repeatedly banned from driving and is now on a suspended sentence for drink driving with no licence. She's back in court on 5 July for yet another driving offence. She's just lucky she hasn't seriously injured, never mind killed, someone. Mental health issues do not make you incapable of understanding about breaking the law. So if she is incapable of controlling her actions, then she should be suitably confined not constantly let off with fines.

I've seen the videos, this one of Dwight Yorke is horrendous.

I honestly don't know how she hasn't had a complete and utter mental breakdown with the pressure she must be under.

She can be her own worst enemy but her heart is in the right place.

I know right! It's as if they all know something that social services doesn't! She is a terrible mum, who uses her children for her own financial gain and doesn't give a shit about the kids. She prefers drugs and men to her kids and she has shown it blatantly for years.

How she had the cheek to say in court that she couldn't go to prison because of her children and then fucks off on holiday the next day missing one of the children's birthday in the process I will never know.

Seeing him with his very young and intelligent wife is sad. She could have done so much better.

I know the trainer through a mutual friend and she said he was happy to go along with the rumours because it was publicity for him but nothing actually happened. Just another man with a giant ego 🙄
