This is a random thread..if you arent interested in Katie and Peter please dont bother reading...
Just had a binge watch of old episodes of Americas Next top model on youtube and it showed me Katie and Peter stateside - their opd documentary..I used to watch it and love them as a couple together. Was gutted when they split but like everyone else at the time I remember thinking how awful Katie was and how she was in the wrong during that infamous massive row they had in that shop in LA.
It pops back up and so I watch it again, near in mind this is after years of me seeing ir. And cant believe it! Its like a brand new argument - completely saw this in a different way.
Pete was the onein the wrong, not Katie. In fact he was awful, actually abusive? Swearing at her calling her a f*king b**ch, "a cow", "you think youre gonna get away with it?"
Bleeding hell, if this isnt abusive I dont know what is! Im more in shock because I remember all the stick KP got, the hate campaign and the "team Pete" . He deserves a medal and all that bollocks.
It just doesnt make sense. How can anyone see it for what itnwas? In fact watching it again, KP hardly spoke..it was all Pete winding her uo, qlmost goading her and then blasting her when she bit back at him..Im just really shocked I guess....😶 makes you wonder how things can get so easily misrepresented.
What does everyone think?

I'm not a fan of hers at all & think she is a train wreck most of the time, but I have always said to people that I don't believe that he's this Mr Nice Guy that the media seem to portray him as. I just get a bad vibe from him & I've always found my gut instinct to be spot on.

How do we know this is factually true? Sorry not buying this. Its so easy to come out and say so and so said this.
I could walk into work tomorrow and say the exact same thing-ish about someone I have a grievance with.
I think Kieran and his wife are bitter that no action was held against her.

Really? Why not? She's said plenty of other equally vile things - for example, the restraining order was set up after she was convicted of calling other parents and staff in the playground at her children's school "fucking cunts." Plenty of witnesses to that, including young children.

Oh there is plenty of evidence of her saying vile things to a lot of people. Just Google her name and death threats or wants them dead and you will see it all.

Anyone who can go into an infant school and shout and swear and terrify young children is not all there and certainly not a good mother!

She has said she wanted her ex friend dead, she has said she wants journalists wives to die of cancer etc..... who does that?

She had also said while leaving court for the abuse on MP that what she said isn't that bad. She has zero remorse for what she does. Absolutely fuck all remorse. She cares about no one but herself.

Peter had a very good PR team at the time of the split.
Watching old clips he treated her disgustingly. He was so abusive and gaslighted her all the time.
There is a clip when he is so rude to a member of the public and Katie is telling him to stop it and he then turns on Katie and putting down her fame.

Also the way he left her was awful. He just decided that she was having this affair with the horse trainer and then just stopped speaking to her. He would never give her closure by talking it through with her. Everything had to go through Claire and the management team. It must have been so frustrating for her especially when she had to split custody of the children.

I disagree. Watching those reality programmes showed quite clearly how impossible she was to live with. How he put up with her constant preening and self-absorption and complete selfishness is anyone's guess. I'm not surprised he couldn't stand it a minute longer, but that said, it was clearly a painful decision for him and he was in a pitiful state for a long time afterwards.

Yes I agree. Katie was definitely very famous at that point. Peter was a 'has been' at that point. Getting together with Katie at that point helped his 'career' massively.

Well its much more known now. What Pete did to Katie was just pure ghosting. I also thought it was cruel how he just split up with her almost desperately making up a valid excuse.

Comments Katie has made in the past (which I am no fan of btw) are totally different to wishing an unborn baby dead/disabled.
Her bloody first born is disabled fgs.!!!

She has suffered miscarriages and seems deeply hurt by it. I've had early miscarriages and tbh never felt upset by it. Just see it as a late period. Never understood women who seem distraught over very early miscarriages but can only put it down to them really wanting the baby. Which shows IMO Katie does love children, being pregnant and giving birth. She always seemed most content during those times.
Sorry and to go back I have read the article with Kieran and Michelle..it seems so fake. She mentions that baby comment after rambling on almost like a desperate attempt to justify why she should be arrested

@Macbeth8 I think they are coming out with it now just to cause trouble for Katie. They know she can't reply or make any statements as she will end up back in court.

The woman with Peter was Katie's best friend. Peter went on to date after him and Katie split.
They looked like they had been 'caught out' in the clip whilst his wife was suffering hospital.
He was all flustered and they both appeared to have nothing on underneath their towels.

Or they could have used as evidence of further harassment if it actually did happen.

Oh don't be so ridiculous! There was a bloody FILM CREW there so what the hell do you think they could have been getting up to in those circumstances - NOTHING in those "reality" shows is spontaneous. And if, IF there had been anything untoward going on, do you really think that the "controlling" Peter would, in a million years have let it be broadcast?
They had (apparently) been in the swimming pool, hence the towels.
